Living at Golden Sands is like living at home-comfortable, great food, and there is always someone to talk with. The care partners are friendly and truly care about the well being of the people they care for. The nurses are always there if you have a question and the management has a true open door policy.

My grandmother lives here. They used to care when it was run by points west. Now it's elder abuse time and time again. Tonight the care aid locked my 93 year old grandmother with dementia in her room and turned off all her lights while not giving her, her walker. He doesnt care, they don't care. They allow it to happen. Last week the same gut put her back in a wet bed because he wouldn't let her go to the washroom. He put a towel down for her..... how nice eh! We have a camera in her room and they still don't care. I am currently on a wait list at another facility. I would rather more her, at her age, then allow her to get hurt or killed due to the actions and behaviors that happen here. And yes I have had dozens of meetings, dozens of reports nothing changes and nothing will. Save your loved ones, move them out or find a different facility!
