Not reliable. Felt strung along. Don't expect any communication/customer service if you have a small repair. I was given a 2 week window for a repair that I was assured by the employee to be relatively simple, however it turned into almost 4 weeks of nothing. Tool still hadn't even been looked at. Decided to take my business elsewhere.

Thanks to Ivan, I have a great new Kress battery electric/cordless lawnmower. Just did the first cut and ….Wow!! Powerful and fast. Did my backyard in less than half the time that it took with the aging gas mower. Quiet clean and only the smell of fresh cut grass. Great bagging as well. Very pleased.

Nice folks, hard working too. It's just that a $120 plus tax repair on a $60 blower unit which was tough to swallow. Said was going to call if over $60. Busy seasn I guess but won't be back, sadly.

Stay away. So a couple years ago I rented some stuff from these guys and purchased a used Honda mower, so when my Echo trimmer crapped out I was pretty confident leaving it with them to hopefully fix. 3 months go by (yes I know people are busy) and I have to start hounding them. A couple weeks later I get a call my trimmer is ready to go, to the tune of $200. That's fine, cheaper than a new one. Get it home it runs 15 seconds and dies so apparently they didn't think to run test it! Take it back to them. "We'll order a carb kit". Really? Turns out $200 only gets you a primer bulb a fuel line and a spark plug from these guys....and no testing to see if it's actually fixed!! Another month goes by and I have to start hounding again. "I'll have another look at it Monday and give you a call" 2 more weeks, no word. Finally I just gave up and picked it up. Perhaps it's unrepairable, I don't know because I'm not a mechanic, I'll get another opinion. I am however a Manager of Customer Service for a huge company and I can tell you, these guys' customer service is atrocious. Whether or not they can actually fix anything, I really can't say.

Needed a replacement blade for an older lawnmower. They placed the order and in about two weeks later the blade arrived. Excellent price as well!

Luc and Ivan were awesome to deal with. I have used them many times over the years and the latest issue was a "malfunctioning" pull start on my lawn mower. They did their best to repair the existing pull start module to keep my costs down, but in the end determined that a new starter module was required and we are good to go again!!

Did not want to give them even one star. 1st experience with Grants Small Engines is when I phoned to see if they could fix my pull start on my line trimmer. They put me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up & drove there with the whole pull start assembly removed from the machine.
They said they could fix it in a week so a week later I drove back to the store & when I walked in it was sitting on the counter exactly where it was left the previous week. No one had even looked at it.
A nice guy at the front desk took it apart right there & basically did his best to fix it. He charged me $37.00.
It lasted about 10 pulls before breaking again.
Not impressed with this shop.
