We've been to this hospital so many times I can't even keep track, you really need to give yourself a pep talk before setting foot in the ER and it's not because of the wait times. My daughter's 4 and autistic, we were there back to back the past 2 days. Yesterday around 11am we went back because my daughter was covered in hives head to toe out of nowhere, the pharmacist next door urged us to go to ER as it was from something internal and she was getting puffy. The triage nurse.. wow. Are working conditions that bad at this hospital that ALL your staff take it out on the patient? Every single person that came out of that room went "she clearly needs a new job" "How rude is she?!" and the whole room would chatter in agreement.

My daughter can't advocate for herself, I was scoffed at for bringing her in for a "rash" (even after I said YOUR pharmacist told me to come here), she was short with my daughter when she was getting weighed, her pulse checked and more. She was so rude and impatient with my daughter that it made her feel like she did something wrong on top of having an ear infection and hives head to toe so she was tearing up in the waiting room. A half verbal child.. thanks lady.

Once in, the nurse wasn't much better. Blamed the hives on meds that she's had every other month for years, didn't bother to listen to me and just wanted us out. Went back to the pharmacist and he said this makes no sense, apologized to me for my giant waste of time and now whatever she switched her meds to something that literally tastes like pure poison, so my daughter won't even take it.

I used to love this hospital but based off your reviews, maybe give people some time off or a pizza party cause what the actual hell is with the beyond rude/don't want to be here/better than you attitude on the staff on your payroll? People are battling cancer/sick/dying and the last thing they need to feel like is an absolute burden and annoyance, especially my child who did nothing but follow direction (which took years to teach her) and used to love the hospital, but now panics if she needs to go.

Thanks for the unneeded trauma, Dunnville Hospital! It'll take a year before I can get her comfortable in a healthcare setting again.

Came in to get an ultrasound and was very impressed with this hospital. Once you walk in there is a large sign with clear instructions on how to register.

The doctor I saw listened to me and was thorough. The nurse who took my blood was marvelous and so kind.

Yes I had to wait but that is to be expected when you go to any hospital. Some people in the waiting room acted entitled and were discouraged about the wait time. Next time please bring a book, crossword, anything to occupy your time.

Parking is FREE!! I will go back to this hospital in a heartbeat. ?

Great people doing fantastic things saving lives here, but whoever picked up the phone in the emergency room today that I had reached by accident, clearly didn't seem too happy. I explained that I was trying to access a names directory for my doctor, (who works at the hospital) and was met with very rude and passive aggressive remarks.. have some respect maybe? I got the number and tried to explain why how I ended up on the phone with emergency and was just cut off and rudley brushed away. No wonder people complain and moan about this place, clearly you have employees that don't want to be there!

I go to the Pain Clinic at this hospital every 6 weeks for a steroid epidural in my lower back. Dr. Ray and all the nurses I've seen have always been very friendly, helpful, and professional.

I was in the ER this past weekend (July 6th, 2024).
I wanted to say a huge thank you to the ER nurse, Hunter.
She was an absolute pleasure to have as my nurse. So kind and caring. Gentle and compassionate. She didn't rush with me at all and made sure I was as comfortable as possible.

I have experienced several doctors in the ER over the years, and have liked them all. Some are slightly better than others, depending on the rotation. I especially liked Dr. Michiels and Dr. Kobah. There was also a female doctor working there in 2017 (?) whitish/grey hair and glasses. Also very nice. Dr. Kobah had more serious issues of mine to address. He’s a very good doctor. Very good hospital.

Friends said it's faster here. No way we waited 2 hrs to get in then another 8.5hrs 1 doctor on staff and 7 nurses chatting behind the desk. Triage nurses were miserable. Because we went in unexpectedly I never ate. Cafe was closed at 1 45. I asked a nurse about a sandwich. She said there aren't that many. It was almost 8pm who are you saving them for. Won't be using that hospital again.

I visited the Emergency Department today for severe pain. I did not wait long at all and was assessed quickly. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional & very caring. When my pain was not relieved by one medication I was given another that helped immensely. I live in London & I must say it is a very different experience! Thank you one & all for your excellent care today.
