Absolutely love this school, our 3 kids have been there since kindergarten. Teachers go above and beyond to help the kids. They genuinely care about all the children and how they learn at their own pace. Our 3 kid's have very different personalities and we never had any problems with any of the teachers. We love how big the school is, the open playground and Mr Prat puts in so much effort in the gym class to make it fun. We will be sad to say goodbye when the time comes.

Now that I moved to Calgary i realized something.I really didn’t really like going to school then but now when I look back on this school it was awesome and visually pleasing. I wish there could be a reunion or something so I can just go in my old school one more time. But anyways I made so much memories in this school since 2015 and now that I’m in grade 7 I miss it even more. Like the architecture is amazing (my school now is not physically stable). The teachers are fine and there was a big problem for bullying. Overall I miss this school more and more each day as the memories fade away…

I have been disrespected by kindergarten teachers multiple times. Undermining my wife and I and our rules and guidelines we have provided the school with. Not to feed our keed, and to communicate with us at all times two things which she completely failed to do. I am nothing but respectful and a kind person. but when I am disrespected which rarely happens but when it does I don't accept it. The teachers today did not address the situation the best.. I always wait at the bottom of the stairs like all the parents do for their children but the one time I go up to get my son I am abruptly handled with a substitute teacher , that was rude and justifying her behaviour because she couldn't handle her own students. Taking out her frustration with me isn't the solution. When I had told her she was frustrated and I understand that another teacher stepped in and started saying oh my gosh several times completely instigating the situation. We have multiple accounts of how we as parents were undermined and disrespected. All we get in response is the principle defending the teachers because they taught their kids. If we don't get an apology and the teachers aren't disciplined or coached were pulling him out of Kindergarten.

I went there when I was in grade 1 and it was a k-9 i'm in grade 6 now, but what i remember is that teacher would flip out over the tiniest things...One time i whispered to one of my friends for a question during quiet reading time and i got called out so everyone was staring at me and i got sent to the hall, like what is that going to teach a grade 1 student! nothing. one other thing, the clothes that young student from ages 12-15 would wear is very inappropriate and not to mention the lack of care that teachers would give, one time i was walking to music and i saw 2 grade 7's MAKING OUT IN THE HALLS! even the teacher where staring at them and could not be bothered by this, this is not the best school to send your kids to.

Heloise Lorimer is doing an AMAZING job with regulations for this unique school year! I am a substitute teacher and felt completely safe and comfortable with the guidelines they have set in this school. Staff and children were wearing masks at all times, the staggered entry and exit worked extremely well, and students were already in a great habit of sanitizing when appropriate. I would gladly go back to this school!

Our kids have had a wonderful experience at this school. Like any school it is not perfect but I have always found the staff and administration eager to work through situations. They have worked very hard to make the school feel settled and all students welcome in the few short years they have been open. We will be sad when it is our time to leave!

The difference that this school and all it’s components have made in my son’s life are immeasurable. My son was enrolled in a private school here in airdrie and unfortunately was extremely hyperactive and far beyond his grade level. Due to the lack of resources in that school they expelled my 5 year old son from kindergarten prior to Christmas celebrations. He developed extreme anxiety and stress going into school. We met with Ms.Valerio at heloise lormier and the I stand connection she had with my son and understood his needs brought tears to my eyes. This school genuinely cares about the success each child is capable of and supports the children with all they need. Mrs.Carter and ms. Patti made my son feel comfortable exploring school and how fun it could be. My son was placed in the resource room for grade one to learn coping skills and my son still wants to spend lunch hours with Ms. Gamble and ms. Vincent. His grade two teacher Mrs.Mbuge has made an incredible difference in his structure in school. I also have to give a huge shout out to the boys and girls club and their before and after school program. Chandi and Haram are great role models and wonderful caregivers. Without this team of teachers and support my son would not have progressed and love school as much as he does now.
