Once again, Hicklin Motors is the only place I will ever go. Best guys around. Needed a control arm replacement, oil change and muffler welded and it was done in less than a day and for a great price. If you need work done to your car, do yourself a favour and come here, you're doing yourself a disservice by going anywhere else. I went in for an oil change once and he fixed multiple things on my car I hadn't even mentioned and did it all for free.

I got stranded on the highway outside of town because my alternator died. People in town recommended these guys to me. I brought the car to them and after diagnostics they said my battery, starter and alternator are dead and they can't do anything until they have those parts. I took the car to Calgary, the mechanic just charged the battery, put in a new alternator and there is no problem. I just wasted my time and money.

I booked my truck in for service 10 days in advance on a date they picked. Then I was told 2 days before they can't do it that date and tried to reschedule for the following week.

I'm going to take my truck to a garage that honors the dates they schedule me in for.

Called and told the person that my oil pan cover needed replacing because the oil plug was rusted on and the lube place couldn't change my oil. He said it was probably fine, he could get it off and do the oil change. I was very clear about the rust on the cover and pointed out even the pre-purchase inspector said it would need replacing.

I showed up, he couldn't get the plug off as predicted and wasn't even prepared or available to change the cover out like Id asked in the first place. Now I have many more km on this oil and it's Fridays afternoon so can't do anything about it now.

James and his shop are just the best. I just had to have a block heater installed and he got me in extremely fast because of the very cold weather. I even was given a ride home. I greatly appreciate his over and above service. Thank you so very much.
