I cannot recommend High River Vet enough! From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff is incredibly friendly and truly passionate about animals, which immediately put us and our dog at ease.

We needed our cat neutered urgently before the holidays (as he had begun to spray) and High River Veterinary Clinic took fantastic care of our boy, and have been very thorough with his care and follow up with vaccinations.

My co-owner took her 5 month old puppy in 2 weeks ago for limping. Upon xray it showed he had a broken toe, splint was put on and sent on her way. 6 days later splint broke, owner called vet to redo splint. Vet could not get her in until next day where she was advised she needs to see an orthopedic surgeon and not to worry about splinting it as it won't cause further damage! (BS) clinic sent off multiple referrals to corporate owned clinics. Owner asked for file and xrays to be sent to another private vet for a different opinion. Clinic said they'd send. 2 days later our vet clinic still has not received the xrays. Called clinic again and waa advised it'll take about 7 days to get it over to our clinic as the vet has to approve everything being sent over. I'd like to know how they've sent it off to vca already but cannot send it to our clinic?
Secondly because they take forever he missed out on an orthopedic consult today. This is a 5 month old puppy with growing bones and to tell the owner not to worry about splinting it or anything plus taking their sweet time all delays healing process and puts puppy in more pain than need be. I find this disgusting!

I am so grateful to Dr. Miles and the support staff at High River Veterinary Clinic. I have brought in some very challenging cats over the years. Dr. Miles has been amazing in her kind and compassionate handling of cats that do not want to be handled.
She has worked miracles on cats with chronic health issues, providing them with an ongoing enjoyable quality of life. Knowledge and experience makes High River Veterinary Clinic my go to clinic for difficult to diagnose health issues.
