I have been associated with this temple for the last 10 years and it's a very peaceful and pious place. Temple is all freshly renovated. Very friendly & helpful people. Management does need few considerations but overall a very well maintained facility it is. Please visit and become a member of HSM. Thanks

Wow amazing feeling thank you hindu society of manitoba. Mandir is open after construction and gives you the feeling that you are sitting in dev lok. Sri kant pandit ji is always there for devotees. Har har Mahadev !!!!!!!

First temple of Manitoba with beautiful idols.
Pious, peaceful, serene ambience.
Hall is enough for congregation of 150 people with good light n sound system.
Well managed by sincere & dedicated board members.
Have good facilities of kitchen n dining area.
Washroom is very clean n hygienic.

Parking issue, Don't know whos car it is but i believe it's pandit ji's car, if he can kindly park a bit nicely meaning choosing one side rather then parking middle then other cars can get a parking spot

The timings are badly managed!
The temple hours showed open 24 hrs today (mahashivratri) and I took a cab early morning at 3:15am to visit for a puja, to my surprised disappointment the temple was closed, lights were on but there was no one to answer the door. I called and no one answered either. Disgraced by such a morning!

Yesterday, I went to the Hindu temple on Ellice, but it was closed. I tried contacting the phone number listed on their website but received no response. I then visited the Hindu temple on St. Anne, but there was no priest present. People were talking loudly and walking around, creating no sense of religious reverence. After that, I went to the Langar Hall. They told me I had to buy a ticket, place an order, and then they would serve me at the table. I felt uncomfortable and left.

On one occasion, I even witnessed people partying in the Langar Hall, with loud music, completely disrupting the sacred atmosphere. Additionally, I saw a priest hurrying to finish rituals early and close the temple an hour before the official closing time. Based on my experiences, I feel that this place is not a temple but more of a venue for collecting money, and the Langar Hall seems to function more as a banquet hall for food stalls or party rentals, rather than for offering Langar.

This place has been my favourite as this showcase how we have been keeping our culture and traditions alive in foreign land.
Place is pleasant place for all age group for worshipping, meeting people and spending quality time together. Temple management also organizes many pooja and events.
I love to visit this temple on Sunday, also they serve authentic Indian food in Prasad.
