I absolutely love our family doctor but the receptionists (specifically the blonde one) is an absolute nightmare to talk to. She’s rude, disrespectful and acts like calling is a bother. My entire family is followed but my spouse hasn’t created an official chart yet (as he hasn’t needed to be seen up until now) and she would not let him create one over the phone (unable to go in as we are an hour away). He’s been having some serious health concerns and she’s making it incredibly difficult to receive proper care. Hopefully she learns basic compassion and customer service skills otherwise she should not be in this role.

In Canada ,29 percent of our tax revenue goes to medical care . For this ,my family gets no doctors in Emergency ,they have to be called in after a triage assessment for need .
No family doctors are available . My doctor moved away .
The clinic , asks you to arrive there at 11 am on Monday to Wednesday for walk in . All appointments for the day are booked within a few minutes . If you were one of the lucky people to get an appointment , you must leave and come back at a scheduled time in the afternoon . You cannot call in . If you don't get an appointment,you must try again the next day . This is unacceptable !!
Until the last few years , the clinic was functional with many doctors and facilitated walk in patients Monday to Friday., the Hospital Emergency was well staffed and medical needs were fulfilled .

The improvement to patient service here, has been tremendous. With the physician shortage and growth of our population over the past few years, I understand there will be wait times, and some people won’t have access to their own doctor, or same day appointments. However; the level of care, combined with the professionalism of the physicians and staff, and close access to a great hospital, exceed my expectations every time. The physicians and staff have always been respectful and professional. It’s not their job to be “nice”..

Resident for 25+ years.
Was told in waiting list since last doctor moved on. 7 years later, BC immigrants getting assigned before me that showed up in the last 2 years.
Last of experienced doctors leaving this month.
The walk in clinic utilising a terrible take a number and waste an entire day to see a doctor that moves patients through without decent care.
Not sure who actually runs the clinic but feels like it’s all about $$

I understand why the best they had move on to their own practice or just give up on this clinic.

There HAS to be better way to run this clinic! I was told walk in registration starts at 12:30 Monday to Wednesday. I arrived at 12:15pm and was told by the receptionist that people arrive early and take a number. Had I known that I would have been there earlier. I was told to call at 3pm to see if it was a possibility to see a doctor but the rude receptionistsaid, nope we're full, try again tomorrow! People work and I had to take a day off just to accommodate these hours. I realize there's a shortage of doctors in the area but what is lacking is the organization and communication from this clinic. Also compassion from the receptionist...it doesn't cost a thing to be understanding and polite.

This is the place nightmares are made out of.
Doesn’t matter who you talk to at the counter everyone have a different answer about how the walk-in works,I walked in today and got a surprise that the new system is online and you have to be up at 3am to book appointment.There was no prior notice or email sent to anyone.
I wish they changed the staff as often as they change the “system “.

I read the other reviews. Figured I'd try calling anyway as they are the closest and open when I need. I dont know how they got any good rating unless it's the doctor that saved them or people they know giving these reviews. Omg is the front staff desk rude. They don't want to listen to you, just shut you down and say no. I called to find out if I could start seeing a doctor as a new patient since I have moved away from my old doctor. Didnt even hear the second part. Told me no, "walk ins" are booked for the week (I still dont get how you book a walk in). I didnt want a walk in but she wouldn't hear that. Rude, temperamental, staff. I'm still shocked at how rude and disrespectful she was.
