This was a monthly trip to Slave lake for work. I am always impressed with the staff at this hotel. Jeff saw me walking in and had my file and room key ready to go by the time I reached the desk. I am certain I got a room upgrade to a king size bed for no charge and when I went to check out, Sarah confirmed I wanted a physical copy of the receipt in an envelope before I could ask as she knew it makes it easier to keep up with my expense tracking from prior visits. The building is clean, well located, the breakfast staff are friendly and hard working and the front desk folks are awesome. The only time I don’t stay at this hotel when I am in town is when I am too slow in booking and all of the other guests beat me to it. Thank you to Fiona and her team for looking after me so well.

Check in was perfect. Very friendly and helpful. A cherry good morning as I left.

Breakfast looked good. But if you hit the line behind the crew workers just go back upstairs and wait 15 minutes. Both mornings I was behind 4 guys who descend on the food trays with Tupperware containers. They emptied the sausages and eggs into these things leaving nothing behind. I looked like they were packing food for the next for days for themselves. One guy actually took 5 cartons of milk (3 white one chocolate). It must be tough for staff to keep the trays filled with that find of "don't mind if I do" going on.

Room was super clean and spacious, but don't take room 215 (or 315 etc., I assume) as it is right on the elevator shaft. I had the elevator running up and down my headboard regularly until about 10 pm and then starting again at 6 am but in between those times is was infrequent enough I was able to get enough sleep and I'm an early riser anyway. When I turned the heat on the fan initially blew a lot of particulate into the room but it settled down quickly. I must have been the first to use it in a while.

I had booked the suite, this was a weird configuration. the room was the normal box room with everything in it, there was a storage space attached with a sofa and table and mirror in it, no tv. I wound up ignoring using it and set up in the bed area of the normal part of the room where I had the tv and phone.

The staff at this hotel were extremely professional and helpful. Good facilities, breakfast was well above expectations. Well maintained gym and room facilities were very good. I slept well in the very comfortable bed. Wifi was excellent.

The hotel was extremely quiet and the staff were all very kind. We spent 2.5 weeks at the hotel and were extremely happy with our stay. The first room we stayed in had an older ac unit that stopped working, however, the staff quickly switched us rooms so we had a newer ac and we had no issues. When the tub was slow to drain (probably from my hair) they had it fixed the same day I told them about the problem. The shower head has excellent pressure and a nice spray. Overall we were very happy and will be back!

If I could give zero stars i would. This hotel is absolutely disgusting. When we checked into our room, we found dirty sheets, bed bug traps, and stains on the walls. The shower was filthy with hair and other people’s belongings left behind. To make matters worse, there was food scattered on the floor. We were horrified and immediately asked for a refund, but the staff rudely denied our request. Management clearly does not care about the wellbeing of their customers and should seriously consider finding a different profession. This place is a health hazard and a complete disgrace. Stay far away from this nightmare of a hotel!

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The staff who checked me in went above and beyond to make sure I have everything I needed.

Location-wise, this hotel is perfectly situated.

Front Desk Agent upon my check-out, she is a bit provoking and sparking. I tried to tune it out and ignore her mood.

I asked for an invoice to be emailed to me and thank her. But hold me back to ask for my email and she said she doesn’t have my email. I know the fact that my email is already on file since i’m using my IHG account for booking. Even my address is on file.

She got my email and still didnt manage to send the invoice. I had to call back the Front desk later that day to email the invoice.

I have no issue following up the front desk or office about my invoice. Just the subdue she showed to a small guest like me.

I have no intention of posting this on page. I want to reach out to your office about my experience with the specific front desk agent.
