My partner and I did a complete renovation on our 1916 house recently and used Holland for our kitchen design. I cannot recommend them enough! They did an incredible job on our project, and were helpful and efficient. Taking our vision and having it drawn up by a designer made a huge difference in the way our kitchen turned out. We had a good idea of the style we wanted, but Holland took it to the next level and added a beautiful banquette, a statement pantry with a glass door, and beautiful beams and wood cladding throughout the kitchen area. Things I never would have thought of on my own. Working with Jenny and Jaime was a great experience. Thanks for everything!

We used Holland Design for our Family Medicine clinic in the University District. From start to finish our process was as smooth as can be. I have a busy schedule and was daunted by the task of developing a new clinic but the team at Holland took over and kept the ball rolling. We started with a shell in a new building and ended up with a beautiful clinic. I didn't think we would be able to meet all of our requirements based on our limited space, but Jaime and Jenny at Holland delivered. We get constant positive feedback from our patients, physicians and staff. I have since recommended Holland Design to other colleagues who are looking at clinic design.

My husband and I used Holland Design for a significant renovation of our old house originally built in the early 1900s. It has been completed, and we are so happy with it. Jaime was wonderful to work with....someone who is truly collaborative and improves and builds upon ideas. In the end, she has enhanced the character of our home and added many unique touches. Our old front porch must now be replaced. Jaime has designed a replacement that while maintaining the character of the old porch, will have an eye-catching updated appearance. We would highly recommend Holland Design.

Holland Design helped me design my optometry clinic Glasses Half Full which is located in Edmonton, and my entire experience working with their team was outstanding. Even from the start of my project, I was met with a level of enthusiasm that I didn't get from any other firm, and this continued throughout my entire time working with them. Their designers were incredibly easy (and even fun) to collaborate with, and they were equally professional and talented. Their end product is in my opinion unparalleled in its quality, as well as to its overall thoroughness insofar as my initial technical specifications. The Holland Design staff are very nice, but in the end we weren't totally satisfied with the work we got, particularly at the price we paid. We engaged Holland Design to design our approximately 600 square foot second story. They poorly designed our closets, which I presumed would be a fairly straightforward part of the scope, and they also missed some details around electrical outlets, trim choices, and hardwood choices (which in the end we went around town having to find). The most disappointing aspect was the post-renovation follow-up (or lack thereof); we pointed out our dissatisfaction, but they "loosely" blamed it on the contractor (JAX Builders) and tradespeople, and the contractor then "loosely" blamed the design. In the end, nobody took blame (and nobody wanted to outright blame the other party or risk losing each others' future business - I presume). But in the end, they lost our business. We recently completed another fairly large renovation in our laundry/mudroom for which we hired a reputable Design and Build shop in town (Denca), and our experience was fantastic. A huge contrast with our Holland/JAX renovation. Of course we encountered some minor errors again (as you always do in renovations), but Denca went above and beyond to fix everything, and without asking for a penny more - they just sucked up the costs in order to keep the customer happy. In the Holland Design/JAX renovation, we now have to put in additional money just to fix THEIR errors.

I used the team from Holland Design for my veterinary clinic and I have been thrilled with the outcome. Being in a basement, the location presented certain challenges but they met those challenges head on. I am happy to say that I have a decidedly un-basement-like new vet clinic.
