I needed to write a review to thank the Sudbury hospital and particularly the Surge team in the Sudbury ER for the wonderful care I received following an injury.
As an out of towner, I have had no experience with this hospital and wasn’t sure what to expect. Excellent care was provided from the triage staff, the x-Ray team, 2 wonderful ER nurses (sorry didn’t catch their names) to the ER doc Dr.Primeau. Everyone I interacted with was wonderful - porters and volunteers included.
I was grateful for their warmth dashed with kind humour and their knowledgeable care.
While no one wants to visit an ER department, it’s reassuring to find great healthcare when you need it.

My mother was hospitalized for two weeks. She was in the ARCC building. The staff is just so kind, and I mean , not just this time, not just in this wing, but each time we’ve brought her in, for either ultrasounds, X-rays or any type of procedure. The wait time in Emergency Dept can be long, quite long…but who is to blame for that? Not the staff … they have always been extremely kind and attentive. My mother is 93… we have gone often over the years. No complaints. None. Thank you to all the volunteers, nurses, doctors, assistants, all personnel. You are highly valued!

I would like to thank the 2 paramedics if I remember right it was Perry and Thomas, sorry if I got it wrong. They came to my house and took care of me so great, got me breating again and took me to the hospital. There I was brought in right away and Charlotte my nurse took over and did such a fantastic job continuing from what the paramedic were doing, The doctor was there and did his checks and ordered a chest away and drew blood. Thankfully everything came back good. The doctor was so good also. Charlotte looked after me for I would say, 6 hours and felt better with each passing minutes. The doctor came back also to check on me a few time, I think his name was Dr. Bourbon. There was other people there that also helped and thank them also. I just want to say they did such a fantastic job and wanted to let them know. Keep up the great and fantastic job everybody especially Charlotte my nurse.

Most ridiculous hospital I have ever been to. Wait times are long that’s to be expected, but the lack of cleanliness and consideration from the staff is disgusting. I brought my son here and was sat in a small waiting room with 3 different junkies. It was more damaging to bring him here than good. We have been here for 8 hours and have seen needles administered in ER in front of other patients test results told in an open waiting room that should have been personal. There is security everywhere that does nothing and you would think they would seat drug addicts that are uncontrollable in other rooms than with children. This is what our tax money goes to? This hospital and whoever runs it should be ashamed.

0 stars. Most of the male doctors there don’t care. My doctor comes in, asks me why i can’t hear out of my ear an emergency? Because i need to be able to hear! Then tells me they don’t do services like a vacuum or water flushing. ( as the triage nurse told me they could help with.) And to go to my family doctor. ( which i already did) i was desperate to get help to be able to hear again, just for him to dismiss me and NOT EVEN TRY TO HELP ME. I knew he didn’t care. Most doctors there don’t.

Every time I have to go to this hospital the floor staff is not just short one or two nurses here and there, but short multiple people Every Damn Day.
They however are Never short staffed in management.
Is it really that hard to see where the cuts need to be made and the resources allocated to?
This hospital is an absolute management atrocity.

My husband was here for four nights in the North Tower, 4th floor and he had the most exceptional staff take care of him. Tammy and Jackson were his nurses and they were both amazing. They are meant to be nurses. Their knowledge and bedside manner were above and beyond.
First class treatment from first class nurses.
In fact, every single person we encountered at the hospital, whether it be the PSW’s, the other patients we met, they were all wonderful, wonderful people.
Thank you for making this experience is good as it could possibly be.

Emergency department is good. Staff is so kind and helpful, they diagnosed everything in depth till satisfactory results were not out. Wait time is more but it’s worth to spend an entire day for health. Thank u HSN and team
