Stayed for a night on a trip to see Fort MacLeod and on to the Coutts border crossing. Arrived a little before check-in time but rooms were available and we were given a choice of two. We chose the larger of the 2 ( except for the shower, which was miniscule). The place was sort of clean, ie bedding, towels, sink, toilet, but the room itself was unkempt, ie corners, baseboards etc. Supplies of tea and coffee making were minimalist, and it seems management, while friendly and obliging, have no concept of what is required. On balance, it was serviceable as a cheap basic motel room. Was next to China City which has great Chinese Food, albeit with the ambience of a tired run down casino, and walking distance to the surprisingly good downtown/main street and excellent Fort Museum.

The stay was good. Check in and check out went smooth. Only thing is with the one outlet by the bed, top one had tape covering it, and the bottom one was pretty loose and my charger for my phone would fall out.

One of the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, we needed a place last min and this was the only option. The a/c didn't work the bug on the bed when we arrived.and the rotten window frames added a nice 3rd world country theme to it.

Listed as having AC, but can't properly be called that. It only had a unit in one walled-off area, leaving the other half of the room hot.

This motel has descent rooms for a reasonable price, however the service was utter horse. Booked a double queen room, they gave us a room with a queen bed and a fold out couch. Upon requesting a room with 2 actual beds the staff refused. Furthermore, they didn't drop off any blankets or pillows for the futon, just the undersheat and mattress protector. Also had a noisy fan that constantly squeaked. Suppose that these service issues and poor business practices were resolved; I would rate 3 star.

So much was screwy in this accommodation that it was almost funny. First there was an old dirty coffee filter left in the machine. Then the coffee left for the morning was pods but it was not a Keurig type coffee maker. The manager seemed baffled, "But it is coffee INSIDE". Pressed and trying to be helpful, she returned with the teabag type of coffee. Still odd for a coffee maker with basket filters but, okay. Then the wifi. The hotel has about 6 networks but you only get a password that works for one. Unfortunately ours booted you off after about 3 minutes. Given the lack of comprehension of coffee tech, I didn't want to press my luck by venturing an opinion on the wifi set up they had. As I needed to get work done I had to use my phone data. Then the micro-wave sounded like a 747 taking off, the bathtub bottom appeared to have been painted with house paint, but only part of it. The rest looked uninvitingly dirty. Finally the bed was ludicrously high with two thick mattresses on top of a box spring. The top of the mattress was level with my waist and I am a 5 ft 6 in average height woman. You'd need a stool to get into it easily. I had to use a suitcase. Cute decor but one would rather have things that work. Added to these inconveniences people were talking loudly outside until all hours and as the manager was talking with them at times, who to complain to? Then someone was pounding on a neighbouring door at 5 am "time to leave". Yes it was.

We were filling out the paperwork for the room rental and the lady at the front kept asking if we had any cash. She told us she needed cash to pay someone, she was totally out of it. After the forth time of telling her no she went into the back and came out with another girl. This other girl was in a crop top and PJ pants, and was in no better “shape” than the original lady.
That was a big hell no!
We were on a business trip and was definitely not staying in a drug motel!
