I don't know how to quite write this but through the most excruciating pain in the last 12 hours, the entire staff at this hospital in day surgery and outpatient care has been absolutely phenomenal. The most patient, caring and genuinely kind. Thank you so much for doing such an incredibly hard job. You all make such a difference and in a life of sometimes questionable choices..choosing to have my surgery here was one of the best. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I wouldn’t give a single star if I could!!
The health care in Kingston is NON-EXISTENT & the entire province is much worse than in any country of the developing world! Coming at lunch time I was THE LAST to leave!! ? Most of the lights were down, people were gone and security locked the door. After waiting for a half of a day, I came home in a nearly starvation comma. An indifferent middle aged female doctor has done NOTHING for me with my post-surgery infected, swollen & inflamed hand. Moreover, she shamelessly lied to me that they wouldn’t even address this in the hospital ( ) and claimed it wasn’t an emergency!
She said she referred me to a specialist, but didn’t give me any information. After 5 weeks no one contacted me yet, while the lump on my hand is severely inflamed and very painful.
Called them again today (Nov. 12/24 @ 2:30 pm) & a clerk named Nancy didn’t even want to give me any information or speak to me in spite of my complain of it getting it much worse! She was not only inhumanly uncaring & unempathic, she stubbornly refused to re-fax the referral with the urgent complaint. She did not even give me any information of the referral, but I found out that the doctor referred me as “routine patient”. REALLY? Having an infection now is a routine thing!
I’m really feeling that not only there is non-existent medical care in Ontario, but the medical “professionals” (more like jail guards really) act as autocrats, who behave as if your health and treatment are entirely up to their own whim, and do NOT care if a person is suffering & getting worse!
This is absolutely inhumane. Our human rights are being ruthlessly violated right before our eyes and as simple people we are being looked upon as unworthy of their attention. Wish it could have been better, but that’s what I’ve experienced and how I feel!!

Great hospital! My son had appointments and surgery here recently. Dr. Law is amazing and so are all the doctors and nurses I met there. Everyone was very caring, friendly and explained everything thoroughly which made the whole process go as smoothly as possible.

Been here so many times I’m starting to memorize my way around. Sucks to have to drive an hour long but it’s worth getting opinions from the doctors, who seem very professional although some things they just can’t help with. Had multiple X-rays and other types of scans done in the past few months and in good speed too. Sometimes we’re there for hours due to its busyness and other times we’re there for a short time. Either way it doesn’t matter because we are always eventually seen.

I needed to be at urgent care twice this week. On both occasions the visits were very positive. The staff were friendly and efficient. Visitors should patient and relate to staff as they themselves would wish to treated!

Staff are excellent. A very clean environment. I've been dealing with eye clinic over a year. Dr Gonder and his team make every visit pleasant and enjoyable. They are courteous and supportive. Ive seen Dr Bona two times as well and what an amazing doctor and team. The hospital has great parking in the garage or on the street. There is an excellent cafe which will surprise you. This is a well run hospital.

Registration:: Lia was fabulous? and friendly upon arrival. 3 hours later, The lady that sits next to her was very rude, unfriendly and has super shitty communication, as soon as I approached for my boyfriend as he was in pain and it was escalating.
