Honestly not the worst place I’ve been at, at first it was a downer that there’s no air condition, but tbh just don’t open the window, or else the warm air will come in.. not opening the window helps actually during the warmer days… surprisingly… I have visited the other residence and honestly I love the way Huntington is designed, the desk and how there’s a head board is actually the best part of the dorm, absolutely love how I have a desk lamp and a lamp on my bed. The kitchen is fine with me I haven’t yet experienced anything bad with it, the floor leader actually tries to mange everything to keep it clean.. I would say the down side of living in Huntington is the location, it’s not close to the bus stop and during winter it’ll be very hard, plus it’s almost like a hill and you would have to go through stairs to go to the main entrance, since it’s at the side not the font.. also it lacks street lights and could be dangerous during the evening…

After living for 8 months in this place…. Honestly the worst part is the mice, I’ve seen mice so many times, even when I moved rooms…. It’s not all that scary, but the first time I saw one was larger than usual and that freaked me out, but when I moved I saw a smaller one, i managed to caught it on a trap (the wooden ones work better than the glue traps they gave me).

I have been living at Huntington University residence for a few months and have faced numerous issues that I feel others should be aware of before deciding to live here. Unfortunately, there have been many roaches in my room, and I have also encountered mice. The shared kitchen is often dirty, which makes it difficult to prepare meals in a clean environment.

Additionally, there are residents who frequently visit and do not follow the rules, adding to the discomfort. Most importantly, there is no air conditioning, making it extremely uncomfortable during warmer months.

Given these circumstances, I would strongly recommend looking for alternative housing options. There are likely better-maintained and more comfortable places to live in the area.
