I wish I could give negative rating to them. They have made this ielts exam as a money making machine. I gave this exam 3 times, every time I got desirable Bands in 2 modules but in two modules they give me 5.5 bands(Speaking and writing). , If a person is scoring 7 bands that means he is capable of achieving good bands in other module as well. Secondly speaking teachers from big population country and they don’t have any expression.

Hello everyone,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the ilets General training exams that I have recently taken at Bitts institute.

I have appeared at your center twice. In my first attempt,I achieved an overall band score of 6.50, with listening 7.50, reading 6.00, writing 5.50 and speaking 6.00. Although I was not completely satisfied with the writing score, I felt the result was acceptable.

However, in my second attempt, my scores dropped unexpectedly to listening 6.50 reading 5.50, writing 5.50 and speaking 6.50, giving my overall band score of only 6.00. I was very confident during the test and I strongly believe my performance was better that what the result reflect. This inconsistency raises serious concerns about the accuracy and fairness of the marking.

I kindly request a re- evaluation of my test, especially the writing and speaking sections or a clear explanation of the marking process. Such transparency would help maintain trust in your institute and the IELTS examination system.

I had a very disappointing experience while taking a computer-based test. I was aware that once registered, we weren’t allowed to leave the premises or use the washroom. However, I accidentally left my eyeglasses in the car. When I realized this — before the test had even started — I politely requested to retrieve them. I even offered to hand over my car keys so someone else could get them for me, but the request was firmly denied.

I understand the importance of rules, and I acknowledge it was my mistake, but considering the test hadn’t begun, a small exception could have been made. They could have easily rechecked me before re-entry. Despite multiple requests, the staff simply stated, “We can’t help,” and I was forced to take the test with impaired vision, making it difficult to see the screen clearly.

Additionally, during the listening section, there were 2–3 people talking loudly right outside the exam room, which was extremely distracting. The seating arrangement was also poorly managed — in a room with about 15 computers, only 6 candidates were seated, and all of us were placed right next to each other with no spacing in between. This made it even harder to focus, as I could clearly hear the audio from the other candidates’ headphones, even after setting mine to maximum volume. I’m sure it distracted others too. As a result, I couldn’t concentrate properly and ended up scoring 6.5 in listening.

I recently took my IELTS exam at the BITTS Testing Services centre and had an outstanding experience. The staff was professional, polite, and very supportive throughout the entire process. The test environment was clean, quiet, and well-organized, which helped me stay calm and focused during the exam. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this IELTS center. I opted for the computer-based test, which typically guarantees results within 3–5 days, yet over a week has passed and I still haven’t received any update.

No one answers the phone, and when you visit in person, the staff simply say, “It might take 5 business days”. Well, that time has already passed, and there is still no update or proper explanation.

This level of carelessness and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially for something as important as IELTS results. Many of us are on strict deadlines for admissions or visa applications, and this kind of delay causes unnecessary stress. If you value timely results and professional service, I would strongly reconsider choosing this center. A truly pathetic experience.

I took my IELTS test at BITTS Central IELTS Test Centre-Edmonton on April 26 and submitted an EOR (Enquiry on Results), which resulted in a grade change on May 26. Today is June 15, and I still haven’t received my refund. Every time I try to contact customer service, I get the same automated message: “All service agents are helping other customers.” It’s impossible to reach anyone directly.

The only contact I’ve had was from the TRF team, asking for an additional courier fee, claiming Canada Post is on strike. When I asked about my refund, they said it’s handled by a different department, and they had no idea. To make things worse, when I tried explaining my concern, a staff member from the TRF department in the Calgary centre hung up on me. I’ve also sent emails but haven’t received any response.

This experience has been extremely frustrating, and the lack of professionalism and accountability is disappointing. I expected better from an international testing organization.

I would not recommend anyone to take exam with this institution. After i got my result i called the bitts about the timeline to get physical copy of my result as i need to send scanned copy or pdf. At that time i was told i will receive my result within week. So i waited for 2 weeks but didn’t receive anything and when i called they are saying they just sent out result yesterday and it will take 20-25 days to receive it. I tried talking with agents but got the same result they even said they don’t have any call history with my number so i even provided proof of conversation but still the same reply. This is so unprofessional and as a result i’ve been kept waiting to start my job! I haven’t got any solution yet even after contacting and writing many times.

I took the computer-based IELTS exam through the British Council, and although their website clearly states that results are typically released within 2 days, it’s now been 5 days and I still haven’t received mine. There’s been no update, and no one answers calls or responds to inquiries. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

I strongly advise others not to book their IELTS exam through the British Council in Brampton or Mississauga. It genuinely feels like they care more about taking international students' money than providing proper support or service. I recommend booking with IDP or at a center outside these locations for a better experience.

I’ll be submitting this same feedback through the British Council’s official survey and encouraging all my friends to post their honest reviews on Google and the British Council website.

And if anyone from the Bitts is planning to reply to this review — don’t bother with an apology. Just release the results. That’ll actually help restore some of your reputation.
