Let me just say, IKF is a serious small-town gem. This place is nicer than most private gyms in big cities. Big kudos to Robert, his passion shows through his establishment. I am partial to having my own garage gym but when I’m in Barrhead, this will MORE than do. Looking forward to visiting Barrhead again and grabbing a membership here!

Honestly, really good variety of machines and in awesome condition. I do somehow wish there could be an extra flat bench set up in front of the mirror and free weight section (but no worries, you can def set up in the squat rack/cage and press there).

I’ll actually be inclined to try every machine and area at least once! Huge ups!

I haven't used the gym so I have no comments on it whatsoever and I'm sure it's an amazing facility,
But I try to use their supplement store and it's always closed,or you have to chase down an employee to open it up.

The hours on the sign are purely suggestion.
And on the off chance you can get in there, they have a very limited selection.
Or products that they used to carry are no longer available and need to be ordered in.

I hate having to drive to Edmonton and I would rather support local business.

An absolutely amazing gym at a level you would not expect to find in a small town. I've been to a number of small town gyms around Alberta, and none of them had the variety of equipment, or quality of equipment of Iron Kingdom Fitness. If you're in the area there is no need to drive anywhere else, as Iron Kingdom has all you need and more to get a solid workout on whatever day of your split it is. The staff at the front is always friendly and welcoming whenever I make it in during normal hours, but the 24 hr. access is something I make full use of and is a huge plus for this gym.

State of the art equipment. Excellent customer care. Reactive to inquiries and very knowledgeable. They are willing to accommodate anyone and do their level best to provide a clean, professional and judgement free gym for anyone to attain their personal goals. You can tell that fitness is the passion of the owner and staff as they are constantly adding to their gym to make it even more appealing. 10/10 recommend. A true gem in small town.

Excellent ownership, staff and facility. Equipment is new and well maintained, and new pieces are added regularly. Has all the equipment you could ask for, including free weights, cardio, machines and a turf area. This is a spectacular gym.

Love the gym, has all the equipment you need. However, the owner is extremely unprofessional (just read his replies to other negative reviews) and he makes it very clear that he favors certain members. Also the $10 price increase from an already high $84 (now $94) a month feels like a slap in the face for someone who has been consistently using the facility for more than a year. Let me reiterate that there is nothing wrong with the equipment but the way the owner acts is downright childish.

One of the best facilities I have used in a small town!!! Barrhead should be grateful a facility like this is in their town!!! I had a great experience and the owner was beyond helpful and accommodating as I'm an out of town patron.
Would recommend this gym all day long!!!

I would like to keep this place a secret, but that wouldn’t be fair. Iron Kingdom is a very well equipped fitness centre, they go out of their way to make every individual person feel welcome and comfortable.

Their facility is extremely clean and well cared for. No matter what level of training you are at, they can accommodate you.
