Juniper Beach is the cleanest, most well run provincial park I’ve been to. I go here every year to enjoy the trains, river and surrounding scenery. The Hosts are extremely friendly and do an excellent job!

Very nice campground by the river. I didn't mind trains as some people mentioned in their reviews. Clean bathrooms, beautiful nature and we had a bonfire (probably the last one this year :D) And bonus: we saw northern lights!!!! Beautiful!

We just stopped in for some leg stretching and rockhounding on our 5.5 hour drive from Kewlona to Whistler. The campsite seemed quiet and well maintained.

You must be a sound sleeper as you are sandwiched between 2 of the busiest rail lines in Canada. They go all night long with a standard 100 - 150 trail cars per. Very very noisy. Also watch out for the Prickly Pear Cactus all through out the vegetation. Don't let your dogs walk around. Lots of great birding though. Saw eagles, Meadow larks, hawks and osprey.

They need new site managers. The one we dealt with was argumentative and incompetent. The place has a few first come sites. You cannot reserve these sites. We dropped in to see if anything was available and found a very nice location that was easy to back into. Then came time to pay for the site. The lady informs me that it is cash only! Even though the BC parks website says they take credit cards. Further, she would not take a cheque, because apparently in the past a couple of them bounced. So now everyone gets to be put in that category. Not a single sign or the registration envelopes state cash only! Instead of finding a solution that works she just decided to argue about it. She finally got around to admitting they could take an e-transfer. But this came after she had already said the reason they don’t take credit cards is they have no cell service. Which makes it rather difficult to e-transfer. They sell the proximity to two different rail lines as a bonus feature. Within a couple of hours we were getting tired of the noise from the trains. We ended up not feeling welcome. They obviously have enough people reserving in advance (paying with credit cards by the way) that they really didn’t need our business. We packed up and hit the road at 4:30. There are far too many alternate locations to be bothered with a place with that much noise and staff that doesn’t care about the people.
