If you like history, you will love this. A cute little historic village hidden in another little village. It gives you good insight to how people lived without the technology we use today. Fantastic place.

Marvellous place, highly recommended for adults and kids, who are interested in history of the country, or just have a curious mind. You can see all the tools and furniture used 1-2 centuries ago in detail. Not behind glass, but right in front of you!

So much more to the village than I had expected. Learned a lot and had a great time. Don't miss the hiking trail but you'll need bug spray.
Short bike ride from the bobcageon lock. Oh, there is an entrance fee of 8$ per adult.

It was a beautiful sneak peak in the lives of Kawartha settlers, everything has been nearly kept.
There is a small picnic area where you can enjoy small snack or lunch that you bring with you. Chicken coop, duck cage and goat barn adds to the attraction for young kids.
In my mind there were some building names that does not goes with what is inside the building. But otherwise it was a wonderful experience.
