Went here for the very first time on September 1, 2019 and I was speechless!!

I arrived in Kelowna a couple weeks ago as a third-year international student in UBCO. I'd planned to try different churches for the next month or so to find which one I like best—so I'd gone to a church so far before coming to KCRC. Didn't really like the first one so I decided to try out KCRC.

This is the most welcoming church I've ever had in my entire life! 7 people welcomed me and I was also given a visitor gift (see photo for proof lol) after the service! The previous church I went to had nobody greeting me from the start to the end of the service.

I also loved the songs: they were a good mix of hymn and contemporary songs. The drums weren't too prominent too, which I liked.

Shoutout to Pastor Nick, such a wonderful, thoughtful, and enthusiastic pastor! He seriously knew how to give expository Biblical lectures by giving the historical background and explaining logical, thoughful connections!

I was also really surprised to see most of the attendees wearing formal shirts. I think it shows how you respect God through your clothing while you're worshipping Him. The churches I went to previously (both in Kelowna and Vancouver where I came from) had most people wearing Tee's and casual.

KCRC was my 2nd church I tried in Kelowna and it felt like home to me. Ain't gonna bother trying out other churches. KCRC will be my go-to church from now on!
