Great three day festival with something for everyone. The celebration of Scottish heritage, including traditional Highland games and bagpipe bands, is balanced with great entertainment on the main stage that crosses into popular music. A highlight is the inclusion of local talent on the main stage! My favorite part is the LOCAL talent!!

We have the pleasure of.being a merchant at this festival. Enjoy a weekend of Scottish heritage and a wide assortment of events. The band's the event brings in are excellent,.ranging from local to across the pond. We really enjoyed the Mudmen, Screaming Orphans and Madison Violet!

My family attends Kincardine Scottish Festival every year, it's our favourite one in Ontario. Held in the park downtown, you're able to enjoy everything the Festival has to offer and then tour the lovely town center. The lake is stunning in the background. There's plenty to see and do this weekend.

If you've never been to the Kincardine 'Gathering of the Bands' which takes place at the end of August, then I'd highly recommend you do go! The music is incredible. The park setting (Victoria Park) where the band-shell is, is the focal point of the day with many bands from all over Ontario performing there. Bring a lawn chair, sit and relax and enjoy the all day, all you can eat hot dog and corn cobs as well as the park being licenced for the day as well. Then after the 'show' is over, there is a massed band parade down the main street of Kincardine. Unlike any other parade, in this parade, the people watching join the march down the street following the pipes and drums! Incredible! Go, enjoy, you'll love it!

Love watching the pipe band play and love that you can march with them in the parade. Our youngest actually would play his drums while watching and Marc ing with them.

Very disappointed with the Highland in Kincardine, 2 food vendors, the games were very inconvenient for handicap, one golf cart for transportation. The volunteers were not very knowledgeable as to the parade, and how to get to the games which we didn’t bother attending. Small town of Embro’s games put Kincardine to shame.

My family came to the Kincardine Scottish festival for the first time in awhile.
We enjoyed the pipers, parade & most of the muscial entertainment but
$65.00 for a pass into the park on Saturday was exhorbitant. My granddaughter just wanted to go in to see the vendors and purchase a Tshirt!!! There should be something set up that people can go into the vendors and not have to pay to do this.
