WE ARE DONE with Lac la biche sporting goods AND the run down dirty town! DO not go to this store. Albert is rude and ignorant. His dry stupid jokes are NOT funny but he thinks they are. His answer to anything is “ if you don’t like it leave it I have many customers who will” HA HA not for long when you don’t care about customers who have supported you many years. Went there every year for thirty years camping. Bought a brand new Lund. When you need service, good luck , he needs to stand behind his word and could care a less how much you supported him. You’re a number, not a customer. Hello Cold Lake same distance for us and a wonderful place you can KEEP your catch.

Stopped in to purchase a tow rope for our tube found one no problem. Seen some paddle boards on sale 799. Down to 599.00. Talked to my daughter and the sales man there and decided to purchase one as I like supporting local stores. He went to get one from upstairs but they had none left so he proceeded to deflate the floor model one. My daughter and I noticed there was glue marks and some other scuff marks on the padding and suggested we should get a floor model discount. The lady at the till told me the reason it was on sale was because it was the last one left mmmmmm. I mentioned it was on sale not because it was the last one left. She got the owner over and he said to her not me or my daughter that it is on sale 200 off and if he does not like it he can leave it there. Well I talked with my daughter and we left it there. On the way back to the lake she found one on Amazon for 320.00 delivered the same brand and we ordered it. I still believe in shopping local and will when possible as I have purchased a .22 rifle, boat batteries, tubes and fishing hooks at this store previously. Too bad the owner could not even talk to me straight.

Had my pontoon boat to 3 shops in Edmonton no one could replicate the issue we were having with the motor initially starting but once you ran the boat and shut it off it would not re-start. To the point where they questioned if I was turning the key… I have operated boats for over 40 years and was getting frustrated …The folks at Lac La Biche sporting goods not only took my concerns serious but spent time trying to figure out the root cause of the issue. They were able to troubleshoot it and make the necessary repairs based on the videos I had taken where I showed the motor just not even turning over after running initially for 20 mins. Can’t thank the team enough and we are enjoying our boat this summer because of their efforts. The staff were exceptional and the price was fair..We will certainly use them for any issues in the future.

Absolutely amazing service. We went in looking for parts. We explained what was going on with our engine and they quickly got it in and diagnosed the issue. Friendly staff and all around service. I’d rather spend a day and drive from the city to have my boat serviced here.

Horrible service! Stay far far away!! Brought my sled here in 2015. Paid over $4000(in total not including travel/gas in the next three years). To be left with a sled that doesn’t run. They just returned it to us last month!! Told us to get it out of their shop Like wow...

Disgusted by the gull of the owner Albert. He’s mechanics couldn’t even change a light bulb on my truck(told me it was the wiring harness). Went out on one trip down there in the winter. Was pretty obvious to me then why my sled wasn’t fixed when they can’t change a light bulb...

If I could give a lower rating I would, bought a used quad from them and the buying experience was horrible, repeatedly the owner would walk away leaving me in awe. Upon paying for the quad it took them close to an hour to get the quad ready and give me my paperwork. The quad I was assured that it was fully gone through mechanically, serviced and included a six month warranty...when I finally received the paperwork it was a piece of scratch paper listing a few defects and had nothing stating the service or that the engine was gone thru. Later I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and took the quad home. I was super excited to have my new quad but after my first ride which was about 30-40km I noticed the bike was making alot of engine chatter. I took it upon myself to remove the valve covers and seen that the cam chain slides were worn right through, the cam chains maxed and the brake pads were down to steel. Immediately I called the owner which he then claimed it was a used quad what did I expect. After a heated exchange he agreed to honor the warranty that was included with the bike but I had to drive back to the dealer. About two weeks later I received a call, it was the owner stating that he refused to fix it cuz it was a used bike. Finally we agreed to a refund and he would buy it back which was nice but still frustrating. The dealer took 4 weeks to send my cheque, upon me calling to ask the payroll lady replied she forgot about it for 3 weeks...I will never set foot in this dealership again. Due to frustration I ended up buying a brand new quad from ravens in fort mcmurray and couldn't be happier.

Would never have any boat repairs done there again. They had my boat for 2 weeks charged me over 600 and still would not run. Had to then take it into Edmonton to Supreme marine and have it fixed right for another sum of money. My boat now runs like a top and it only took them 1 day to do it.
