So easy and tons of fun! Just be warned the beach at the end is quite small.
It was so hot it was nice to have a bottomless tube & you can buy a floatie for your cooler too!
River is nice and easy… took us about 3 hours. You can touch the bottom in most spots.

I had no idea how easy it was to cruise the river! The Tube Shack makes it an absolute breeze! I always thought tubing would be too much planning or hassle, but they’ve got it completely figured out. From choosing the perfect tube for everyone in your crew (we doubled up in the swift tube and it was perfect for me and my 6-year-old) to supplying river-safe sunscreen and lifejackets at no extra cost, they’ve thought of everything.

The staff were super friendly, super informative, and clearly love what they do. Free parking is just a short walk away, and everything runs so smoothly from start to finish.

Pro tip: pack a wet bag for snacks and anything you want to keep dry, we had tons of space to float, snack, and soak up the sun.

This was hands down a highlight of our Lake Cowichan trip. If you’re in the area, this is a must-do summer adventure!

The quintessential summer time memory making activity with your friends and family. Fun for all ages. Love that they supplied sunscreen, water station and potties before you hit the river. Online booking and reservations make it super easy to grab a spot. Love that there are potties at the end of the river, too. Not to miss the ice cream spot after the river at Cowabunga Cones!!!

We had an absolute blast with The Tube Shack on Lake Cowichan! From start to finish, the customer service was fantastic, super friendly and organized. Returning the tubes at the end was a breeze, and the shuttle back to the parking lot was easy. The tubes themselves were top-notch quality, and I loved that they even offered a rectangle tube for coolers or gear (such a smart idea!). Prices were very reasonable, and floating down the Cowichan River for two relaxing hours was pure joy. We’ll definitely be back next summer!

It’s a great experience overall, you get to Cowichan lake and you go to the tube shack to rent everything you need, the girl from the front desk was very friendly she even spoke to us in Spanish to help us out, the lake was very beautiful ✨nature everywhere, at the end of the ride 2 very nice guys help us to carry our tubes, and a very friendly driver Drove everyone back to the main entrance
