This place is a gem. Please visit this place right in the heart of Osoyoos. We have now been here thrice and it keeps getting better. It’s walking distance. We visited here over Easter the first time. Olivia and Kathleen were lovely and explained the wines very well. We landed up winning a Complimentary wine tasting for our Easter egg hunt. We were back a month later. Kelly was lovely. She mentioned that there is live music on Sundays so we booked an afternoon and had a lovely white wine with Thai food from the truck next door. Excellent food. Met some lovely locals Lorrie, Shelley and Stuart. This place feels very welcoming so please visit! You will be pleasantly surprised

We visited Lakeside Cellars in Osoyoos for a tasting on June 16th. Our group of 10 had called in ahead because we were a big group and wanted to make sure we could be accommodated. Unfortunately, it seems that the message was not relayed to the host working that day. While she was not expecting us, she was able to accommodate us. We visited Lakeside last year and had a great experience which is why we came back.

Our host seemed to be the only person working that day. Not only was she trying to serve everyone on the patio but was also trying to take care of walk-ins in the shop. While given the circumstances she did the best she could, our experience was less than expected which is why I am giving only two stars. Our host on the other hand, deserves 5 for doing her best to manage everything that day.

We just went May 2nd with a group of 8. The service was phenomenal and wine was excellent. You can’t beat the location either!! I believe our servers name was Deborah? We did the tasting and bought several bottles and had a great time. Thank you!

Rude, rude, so rude! We used to purchase wine from Lakeside every time we came to Osoyoos. Once or twice a year. We also looked for the wine in the stores. Last time we bought about 12 bottles, this time I was thinking 7-8. We weren't even allowed insude. The open sign was down below and the schedule 11 to 5. A quarter to 5 pm they quickly came to the door stating that it's 10 to 5 and they only allow tasting until 4:30pm. We couldn't buy wine either. People were on the patio sipping wine. I'm guessing the three ladies "working" there were set on leaving the premises at 5 sharp. Not sure if they have any take in the business, other than being employed there, but I can tell you that I will no longer purchase wine from Lakeside. I will avoid it in the stores as well as ever try to get to the wine tasting location again. We made great efforts to catch it open today. Disappointing.

The wine was quite good. The setting beautiful. We had good service for our tastings. Then she disappeared. We would have sipped another glass of wine but we left after nobody took care of us.

I'll preface that we've visited the old lakeside location many times and dropped thousands on wine.

Arrived at 4:40PM to try and buy some wine. Rather than being a gracious host, the lady I guess wasn't willing to take the risk and said they stopped serving at 4:30 as they were serving a couple outside at the same time. Signs said 5PM.

Guess you made enough money and don't need more. Fair.

Ciao Lakeside. Hope your new location brings more customers, at peak working hours. Not riffraff like us that reach you within an hour of closing time 🤣
