We have only been at this amazing barn for 1 and a half months. But having been at another barn for over 7 years, I feel equipped to say that this is an incredible place. The friendly atmosphere, the welcoming and helpful environment and the quality of coaching is next level. I feel that Tessa truly cares about the horses and the students and that everyone is in a safe and healthy environment. We are so excited to have found LTS after years of searching for a barn that offered a growth mindset for our daughter. Jen is an incredible coach and we can’t say enough about her and her lessons. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the LTS team, Jen and Tessa! You guys are so amazing and we are truly lucky to have you in our corner.

My children have been riding at LTS for two years and I am more than pleased with our experience. They have progressed well with their learning and the coaches are attentive to each rider. It's obvious how much the horses are loved and well cared for. The owners are also present, very involved and are always striving for excellence. This is evident with the new farm. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing for both the horses and riders. We look forward to our time spent at the barn each week and often go for visits, (even if we aren't riding that day!)

We’ve just recently joined the LTS family in December 2018, but FAMILY is truly the right word. We were made extremely welcome from day one by everyone! Owner, employees, boarders, riders and parents, all of them, exceptionally nice people.
The entire feeling is one of acceptance and inclusion. We had left our previous stable because of bullying and I can safely say there is zero tolerance for any nonsense. I wish we had made the change earlier!
Tessa and her staff give the horses superior care and it shows!! Happy healthy horses! She will go the extra distance for any horse needing more attention. She is always looking out for their best interests!! And not only horses but donkeys, pigs, cats, ducks and dogs too!
Tessa (and all is the coaches) treat each rider as an individual, teaches to their strengths and helps them overcome their weaknesses, always, always in a positive and supportive way!
The overall environment is fun and upbeat, everyone looking out for one another and cheering them on. They support each other, not only horse related, but in life!!
This is my happy place!! I am proud to say that I am part of the LTS Family!!

I have been riding at LTS for over a year now and I can honestly say that this is the best riding stable I have ever experienced. LTS has welcomed me to their barn with superb customer service, professionalism, and a true caring demeanor. The coaches here are knowledgeable, caring, and genuine. They never hesitate to help or answer one of my many questions. At LTS health and safety is their number one priority. Tessa and her staff do everything possible to ensure their riders and horses are safe and well cared for. I have never felt unsafe at this barn and Tessa always goes out of her way to help me. She is genuinely interested in seeing her students excel. LTS and their coaches have taken my riding to the next level and helped me find the best horse to partner with. I’m happy to say that LTS is like a second home to me. The community of people is outstanding and supportive and there is such a wide range of excellent horses. Tessa has done an impeccable job of building this community and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you LTS for making my riding experience so wonderful!

I have had the wonderful experience of riding at LTS for the past 5 years and although I have moved on to owning my own horse and boarding at a different facility I will hold the memories I made at LTS forever.
I also have my younger sister still riding there so I get to visit sometimes, which always makes my day.

I have noticed a few very very minor issues but even then all of them seemed to be solved almost immediately in a professional and understanding way. They have in no way effected my view of the farm, instead they have even strengthened my respect for Tessa and her team's love for the sport and their horses and wiliness to improve even further.

Over the years I have been able to grow and specifically thanks to one of their coaches, Jen, and the ladies that have been in my lessons I have finally been able to break out of my shell and improve as a rider.

As for their horses, they are very well loved and extremally well cared for. Tessa takes pride in how lovely her school horses are and she should be! Every horse that I have had the opportunity to ride I have learned boatloads from and would trust with my life!

If you are looking at a place to either start your riding journey, or advance it, I would highly reccomend LTS! Weather you would like to join the show team or just learn about horses and ride for fun, LTS is a wonderful choice and I am so glad I chose to join LTS all those years ago!

I could honestly write an entire essay on this place but it is very near and dear to my heart and has honestly helped shape me as a person!

I have been with Tessa for many years now. Both as a lesson student, and a boarder. The barn is always well kept, and clean, and has an absolutely welcoming atmosphere. The horses receive excellent specialized care, in order to guarantee that each horse is in the best health.

The customer service I receive here is amazing, prompt reply to emails, and a constant communication in regards to updated policy- especially in regards to the situation with COVID-19.

I have the amazing opportunity to have lessons from Jen, Olga and Tessa and I can only say wonderful things about them. They have been insurmountable in bringing my horse back into work after an injury, and have worked with not only myself, but also my vet in order to make sure that we bring my horse back into work properly.

I highly recommend this barn to ANYONE, LTS has fabulous programs available for all rider abilities at all ages! I can honestly say I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Making the move to Laughton Training and Sales was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We spent countless hours searching online, visiting barns, talking to people, asking questions and are so thrilled we landed here! We were also very nervous moving to a new barn but that quickly faded as we were welcomed by everyone with open arms!
LTS is a family run business with coaches that have years of experience and expertise as well as dedicated staff that care for the horses as if they were their own. As a horse owner, we were not only looking for a great place for our daughter to improve her skills (she is a competive rider) but we also wanted the very best for Chai. And that is exactly what we are getting. Tessa and her staff helped Chai adjust to her new surroundings by finding her the perfect stall, allowing her the time to get to know her new herd, helping to find the perfect feeding program for her, suggesting a wonderful vet and ferrier for Chai and answering all of our many questions with a smile and suggestions. If Chai looks a little "off" in a lesson, the coaches will always assess the situation and make suggestions for her care. They truly love each and every one of our four legged babies!! Tessa never makes a decision without our input and that is so important to us as we feel valued as horse owners (although she is so knowledgable, we always take her advice!!) and we know she truly cares about Chai's well-being.
Since joining LTS, our daughter's riding skills have improved exponentially as well as her confidence in the saddle and that is all because of the patience, understanding, and encouragement she is shown by every one of her coaches. Jenn, Olga, Megan and Tessa have all coached our daughter and she learns something new each and every time she rides. She has also been given incredible experiences already (and we have only been here for one year!!!) such as a hack through Dundas Valley, an opportunity to show on the show team, riding in hunter pairs, volunteering with the New Rider Program and the Beginnners, learning some basic skills in dressage and cross country to name only a few!!
Another important factor when chosing a barn is communication and how smoothly everything runs. Edwyna is on top of all the important messages that need to be shared (and even more so during these tricky times!). She is fabulous at ensuring all of the LTS community are up to date on the policies and procedures, lesson availability, and any other pertinant information as it comes up and makes sure to answer any questions we may have.
One of the most valuable things that we are learning at LTS is how important the connection between horse and rider is. We look forward to heading to the barn, our happy place, our sanctuary, our family. And for that we are so very thankful. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at LTS!! We love it here and have made friends for life at LTS!!

I’ve been with Tessa at LTS for around 7 years now and I’ve gone from being a lesson student to owning my own horse and through everything Tessa and the staff at the farm have been so good to us. My horse came to the farm skinny and right away we found a feed program that worked for her mostly thanks to Tessa. Recently my girl went through some health issues and Tessa and the staff were so good to us making sure she was okay. Also while my horse was off she kept me riding on some of her horses which I was so grateful for.
