my experience with my instructor Leigh Ann was amazing because she created a calm, supportive, and confidence-building environment from the very first lesson. She was incredibly patient, never made me feel nervous about making mistakes, and always explained things clearly and thoroughly. Her approach made learning to drive feel safe and even enjoyable. Leigh Ann had a great way of balancing professionalism with friendliness. She genuinely cared about my progress and celebrated every small success with me. Thanks to her encouragement and expert guidance, but I also feel confident driving on my own. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.

I paid for a package deal with Laurentian Driving school with 3 lessons and 2-hour pre-examination driving lessons for my wife last year, as she has joined me after we got married in 2022. She took the 3 driving lessons, most of which were spent by instructor yapping and talking, than actual driving. My wife has been driving for 30+ years in Asia.

Due to other engagements, my wife could not book the DL test until recently, hoping to use my vehicle for her DL test drive. I called Laurentian Driving school today to request if there is no need for their vehicle for the test, but to give us the 2 hours pre test driving touch up to schedule for next week.

The woman who answered the call sent me a quote for $29.38 + tax only 1 hour of pre test touch up lesson for reduced scope of service and less 1 hour than what we paid for!!

We found another licensed MOT approved instructor in Peterborough who charges only $25/hr driving lessons. He has been on time, very professional and has been good advise to my wife to obtain her DL safely and properly.

Laurentian Driving School is a scam, a money grab, they are extremely unprofessional and NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE!! What a bluff!!!!!!

This complaint will be filed with Ontario Ministry of Transport.

I would strongly recommend Laurentian Driving School to any person looking to learn to drive or refresh their driving skills. Every staff member during the process was kind, courteous and helpful but I would like to give a wholehearted recommendation for my instructor Jamie. For context, I had never been behind the wheel of a vehicle before taking this course and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. My instructor Jamie went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable during every lesson. Whenever I had a question, no matter how small or silly, he took the time to give a thoughtful and considered response. As a new driver, there were so many aspects of my driving that needed improvement, but Jamie never ever made me feel bad about it. Whenever there were corrections to be made he shared them in such a calm and kind manner, and would always take the time to ensure I fully understood what the mistake was, what the correct decision or maneuver should have been, and the context for how handling the situation in the correct way would make the roads safer for myself and those around me. Jamie was incredibly kind, patient and knowledgeable and I count myself as truly lucky to have had him as my instructor. I always finished my lessons feeling encouraged about the progress I was making and looking forward to how I would improve on things the next time I was behind the wheel. Taking this course at Laurentian Driving School under Jamie's tutelage has had a phenomenally positive impact on who I am as a driver and I will always be grateful for this experience. Thank you!

Great instructors. My experience with Tammy was great for building my driving skill. She is patient and understanding but also tells it as it is and won't baby you when it comes to building confidence, she also just has great story's and funny moments to keep you entertained while learning. A very great way to learn to drive but also to learn valuable life skills along the way. Thanks for all the work you do!

I took the G exit package with 3 hours + car renting and it went great. I've received help from two instructors ( Shannon and Leigh Ann ) and both were fantastic. I would recommend.

I originally had some worries with seeing a few comments mentioning racism (I'm african), but I didn't get exposed to any of that. Every person i dealt with was wonderful and super helpful.
