Avoid sending your teenager here. They do not properly prepare students for cegep. This school has a bad reputation and many college teachers are even aware of this, referring to it as “that east end school”. Teachers are more like babysitters here which is not to devalue their work, but most students at this school make their teachers’ lives difficult and are incredibly disruptive and disrespectful. Minimal learning takes place. Bullying is a big issue at this school which needs to be better addressed too. I’ve witnessed many problematic relationships between student and teacher as well, whereby teachers acted more like friends than teachers. There are a lot better schools in the east end..

1.some Teachers are so biased.No body cares.

2.Will not Recommed Barbering course with John.(partial with students,Insult them,Ignore them.

3.Things are very smoother for Favorite students..
1.They can come and go any time.
2.They can be use their phone in the class
3.They do not need to do task because Teacher is giving this task to least Favorite.
4.They can come and just sit in the class for attendance can refuse to do clients because they have to leave early for parties and teacher is very much ok also help those girls to do their hair.

5.If you bring your family member with you as a client then He will not even Greet or say hlo and not even hesitate to Ignores them thats how he shows his hate towards you.No wise Teacher will ever do this but he did.

4.Get ready to pay for the Lost things even If you are not Responsible otherwise Receptionist threatened She will not give diploma until you pay and raised voice on you and refused to listen anything and put blame on you Doesn't matter if you already inform ur teacher or school Authorities about this.

6.when Teacher Clearly shows so much hate then " HE FAILED AS A TEACHER".

Guys Mental health is more Important then anything and sometimes some students don't complain because they know that No one will Listen and They go through this pain because they spent money and time.I have never complained about his behavior towards me and tolerated everything But when these ppl shows hate towards family members then we can't kept quit.For sure he will justify his behavior and prove me wrong with his gang(Fav.ones) but there are others who suffered because of him and had to quit this program.Sorry to humanity

Great school, nice staff and a good education. The programs are very inclusive and loads of feel trips so free some not. Alot of in school activities that I haven't seen anywhere else. There's a vast amount of clubs and sports teams. There's multiple ways the school provides help for the real world such as work shops class for help around the house and incoraging students to recycle. Only complaint I have is the bulling but there are alot of teacher to help you with that sort of thing.

Where to start …. People can complain and say other school a better ?…administration are not nice ? But no ! My daughter went there .. graduated and got accepted in the hardest program .. with the support of that school .. those teachers .. those nice ladies that answers 1000 calls a day but still are sensitive to what OUR children feel during the years .. I felt supported every time i needed something for my daughter.. I am proud to say my daughter went there !

Do not, I repeat do not! send your kid to this school. This school will not prepare you for adult life in any way shape or form. In 3 years at this school, we only had 2 hours of wood shop. The only complimentary class you get is in sec 5 and you have very limited options. if you're in the science program in sec 4 and go into the art one in sec 5, you will end up in drama or art most likely as they will simply throw you into whatever has room (which is normally drama). You also have to pay 50$ to attend your graduation, no other schools do this.

There are very few good teachers, the good ones either retire or find other schools to work at. Many teachers will play favorites and it is very obvious who are the golden children and who are the scapegoats. But the staff will act super friendly towards the parents just so they keep their kids in the school of course. but once the parents aren't there, it's a completely different game

Field trips are very limited and barely existent, you might get lucky and have a cool teacher who will take the class out somewhere but don't count on it too much. I know some people who only went on field trips in sec 5, and those were the every year grad trips.

The uniforms are ugly and cheaply made. One year, the heating wasn't working in some class rooms, some teachers came into class with their coats and scarves on but if a student god forbid wears a non school sweater, hat scarf or gloves they will be asked to remove them or be sent to the office. They complain the girls dress to revealing but one teacher in particular dresses like she's going to a bar or club every day. Others dress for the body they want and not the body they have and its quite gross for students to have to look at for 72 minutes.

I went to college after going to this school, and I can say that college professors and college students do not see lmac graduates well. I was told that high school it self is a waste of time by many college professors. I spoke to people who came from other high schools to contrast and compare and can say, this one has to be one of the worst english high schools in montreal.

Teachers are cold, rude and don’t seem to care about their job. They also told me not to wear a tank top but when I saw the principal, she herself was wearing one...
