The staff are friendly. Jojo, Marcelle, and Lori always say hello whenever I come in. If I am unsure where something is, I'm not just directed to the aisle, someone personally sees that I find it by coming with me.
I was installing a retaining wall last year and the quality of the wood was far superior to the same products offered at the big box stores.
LBH is a very welcoming business. Other hardware stores could take a page from their book in customer service.

Dropped in to this store because they carried Fiberon composite decking. I had some installed by a deck company a few months ago and noticed 1 fascia screw was missing.

So although I was not their customer, Andy in customer service without hesitation, found a matching fascia screw, and offered it to me at no charge.

Unsung customer service heroes should be recognized and applauded.

Called the store looking to get some pricing for a deck my husband and I are planning to build. Was told very rudely by the employee (Curt) that I have to come in the store to get pricing. We live over an hour from the city, driving in and having to stop at every store just to get some pricing seems unreasonable. I called a different supplier in the city who had no problem giving me pricing and that transparency was why we bought from there instead.

Don’t waste your time here. I went into the store and specifically told the lady who works in doors and windows I needed fire proof doors (building code) for my legal basement suite. The door came and were installed. The final inspection was failed because she ordered 35mm thick doors when they should have been 45mm. I paid right around 1,000 for the 3 doors. I called and sent several emails and they refused to do anything other then offer me about 125 to buy the doors back. This was all their fault and took 0 accountability. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Amazing service. Great prices. I ordered an entire deck package from Colin and he was fantastic to deal with. Super knowledgeable, always there to answer questions, efficiently dealt with returns and shipping. If you’re building a deck, go see Colin.

Stopped in to pick colors for a deck I wanted. Wanted to place an order for all the supplies and pick up in a few days. Stood around In the deck area without any assistance. Finally went up to the counter and asked for help. Seemed like this was a problem. Got a few eye rolls.

Was told to draw a diagram and email them what I wanted for a deck. Could not price out and buy what I wanted for whatever reason.

Tried to ask questions on the different composite boards and got no answers. Person working preferred to get back to his desk then place an order.

If you need appointments to do so or can't place orders same day perhaps this should be noted on the website. I'd have saved myself a trip by not coming to your store.

Excellent customer service! I went in to look at composite deck products. The guy who helped me so was so nice and very knowledgeable! He answered all my questions, gave me his opinion and actually gave me the time of day, which I appreciated so much. (I’ve been to a few other places without my husband and I almost get the vibe that they feel like they are wasting their time talking to me) Had a great experience and will definitely be back.
