My son who is 6 years old suffered an elbow break so I took into the ER to have him seen.
From the moment we saw the triage nurse Olga, to the xray techs and our simply amazing Nurse practitioner Marisa and our nurse they all couldn't have made his experience feel more comfortable. He taken care of in such a lovely manner, they all were so reassuring with him and gentle. Te xray techs made him feel secure and safe going with them by himself. The Nurse practitioner Marisa is a gem, she stayed on his level and made him feel secure and taken care of.
Your team you have at Erie shores is wonderful and they deserve so much praise!

Words can’t explain how grateful my family is for the care, understanding, and compassion shown by a wonderful ER nurse by the name of Kym. Her kindness was appreciated while dealing with difficult times. The hospital staff all showed hard work and dedication. Keep up your amazing work?

I was in the hospital for almost a week. The staff was excellent until it came time for discharge. Practically push you out the window. I had no clothes, my bf was bringing me some and they kept pushing wanted me to go sit on the 1st floor in a hospital gown. The Dr absolutely sucked. 6 days and not once did he examine me or anything. Thought i might have a bladder infection asked if they would do a test because once i left i didn’t want to go back. It’s pretty sad when everything is so good for your whole stay and then the true colours come out. Except the Dr didn’t like him from day 1 phony. Do not have Dr. Kolati

Quicker than Windsor HOWEVER still unnecessarily slow. I felt like urgency was not taken seriously. There was legitimately a lot of wasted time.
In saying that the staff was fantastic. Doctor was good. What took 5 hours could most certainly have taken 2 at absolute maximum.
So 2 stars it is.

Worst example of how horrible the system is in Ontario. Waited 7 hours, eventually left, after being hit by car, unbelievable! When I moved here all the locals told me if you don’t want to die avoid Erie shores! Maybe the worst hospital I have ever seen on earth, I should add I have spent 11 years in the developing world and I swear I was receiving better treatment there!

Was in a car accident and arrived at this hospital by ambulance with a possibly broken arm. I waiting in the ER for 3 hours without a single triage before being called in for x rays. Then waited another 2 hours just for the dr to tell me my arm isn’t broken. He didn’t even do a full physical exam on me after being in a very serious car accident. I had went to see my family dr a few days later for a second opinion because I am still in a lot of pain. Now, currently waiting on results for a possibly broken rib a week after my car accident. All of this would’ve been dealt with LAST WEEK if the dr had assessed me properly. Absolutely ridiculous.

I was there three times in a row, for
ultrasound, ct scan and bone scan. Always super service at this hospital! They care, they treated me like family! Some of the best health care professionals work at Erie Shores Health Care Hospital! We are lucky to have them! Saying thank you to them is never enough.

I know Healthcare workers often suffer the abuse from patients, management and the government but despite all that there are still good people working in this hospital. Sure parking is horrible, expensive and really lacking priority - but it's still a major contributor to local and surrounding county safety and survival.

I'd like to personally thank Carrie, the first friendly face you meet when entering this facility. Always there to guide those who enter and make their visit a more enjoyable experience even when times may be rough.

Her willingness to smile and help is something many places lack and she is a prime example to which many other facilities should base similar positions after.

During the entire installation process of the new MRI she has kept fighting to keep order and flow in that hectic part of the hospital.

You made my 3 month visits (every other day) to the hospital a very enjoyable and stress free time - even when i may not have been very stressfree. Keep up the great work
