I'm a student and I can say the teachers be getting mad over anything. One time I poked my friend in the chest (It was a guy, for clarification) and 2 teachers decided that was a major issue and wasted like 10 minutes of my time after school hours to explain to me how horrible it was of me to poke my friend and how it violated the rules. Another time, I was walking in the hallway during lunch hours after having gone to the office for unrelated reasons. I was headed back to class when a teacher decided that was an issue and she (in my opinion) quite rudely exclaimed for me to get to class. I lightheartedly reply "I don't see where else I'd be he headed" in a tone that couldn't come off as either rude nor disrespectful, and she made it an issue. I feel like the teachers are all demanding of more respect than they've shown they deserved. During a lecture the principal had given me when I had gotten in trouble for refusing to throw a rock I had in my possession in the trash (I was not doing anything dangerous with the rock, it was in my pocket after another student gave me, and my teacher took it as disrespect and then sent me to the office) his main point when I had brought up the "teachers demand too much respect than they deserve" point was that she had studied in college and gotten a degree, which many, many people have done already and I do not find worthy of respect. I feel the school struggles to justify many of their punishments, and are quick to say things that force the students to say their wrong or face consequences.

One time, a student activated the doorbell camera while I was in front of it and the receptionist came outside and told me not to press it. I said I didn't, she said "are you saying I'm lying." If I had said no, I admit I was wrong even though I wasn't. If I say yes, I'm disrespecting staff and likely would've gotten in more trouble.

The classes are also boring and I find are hard to stay engaged in. I feel like I've been doing the same stuff in French, English, and Math class for my entire time here.

There is usually a couple of students in each class that can be considered disruptive, rude, and insolent, which isn't too bad to deal with but they can be really annoying sometimes.

Early 2025 Edit; Yea, I Decided to review the school Entirely.

The Teachers don't even help you when it comes to Actual Medical Conditions, Half of them Treat the Neurodivergent kids like Kindergarteners (which is Generally Bad, they treat them as if they're 5 Year Olds. I know by Experience), The School has a Major Issue with Kids Vaping/Smoking in the Bathrooms & Constant Bullying, I Almost got myself Ended up in the Hospital (I Tried to Commit/Self Harm) because of the Grade 7 Kids Constantly making Suicide Jokes & Death Threats to the Older & Younger Kids, Including me.

Teachers don't care if you have a Disability, They Treat you like Trash. They don't care about the Students Committing Vandalism or Hacking into the School Speakers.

The only Care for your "Education", Which is honestly a Bad Reputation on Theirselves, I Wen't to this School & Left to A Catholic School because the Bullying got so bad, my Dad had a Issue with it & Made me Move schools.
After i Left, a Friend i Personally Knew here (and still is at this School), was given Worser Treatment by the Kids & Teachers, I'm Disappointed that News Articles, Police (or Anyone) hasn't Spoke up on what has Happened Fully at the School, People should be aware of the Certain Reality to Such Places.

There's been a lot Surrounding this Place, 2 Bomb Threats & a Child being Beaten up & Ending up in the Hospital.

If you're looking for a Middle school to Put your Kid in, This one is NOT It, You Don't wanna Risk getting Trauma from here. Would Suggest Ohpaho Secondary School, West Haven Public School or Christ the King Catholic High School.

It was a constant struggle with this school. They run it exactly like a prison with meter by meter rooms to hold people if they "misbehave" or are accused of doing so. I began to self harm, have suicidal thoughts and isolation issues thanks to the trauma this school had. The school itself is corrupted to high hell. If you want your kid to be safe, do not take them here. The school itself should be investigated in my opinion due to the issues plaguing it and still plaguing it

So last week a student brings a knife to school and admitted to willingness to use against another student and was caught with the knife on her possession and the school claims she can return but will be bag checked. What stops this child from putting it by a tree and picking it hp later then using it on a student. Like if your child goes here they need to watch there. Back. The resource officer in my opinion is a joke as spoke to him and can't stop the what ifs.also not criminal even though bringing a knife to school is intent or wouldn't of brought one. Nice to know ur child maybe stabbed in back and school doesn't care .

very terrible school in my opinion. as a student who went here, the teachers are very bad. they're terrible at teaching and really dont care about your future, they also insult students for things they cant control. they're incredibly rude and are no help whatsoever. the school screws a lot of things up and don't address it til weeks later, or dont even address it at all. the kids here have no respect, sometimes they're punished but they easily get let off the hook. i would give 0 stars if i could, very trash school

This school is no good. Many of the teachers treat the kids like trash and expect the students to respect them with no fail, it’s not a good teaching environment. Teachers are racist to the schools Latino black and Asian students, aswell as the disabled kids (whom are not taken cared of well or taught well by their helper) and and other kids who act a little different. The student there are also problematic, drinking doing drugs, and vaping plague the schools alum and teacher do nothing to inforce rules, instead they are busy punishing kids for internet usage and the overly strict dress code. Some teachers are blantantly sexist towards male student making them believe they will do nothing in life because of their gender. And the substitute teachers cause kids to fall behind in their work. This school is a bad environment, there are better places for your kids. Try looking into out of town options because leduc schools are no good at this time
