Honestly pretty decent but they put all of their funding into sports and the dance program while they ignore the rest of the Fine Arts. Their programs are amazing, and it is even more amazing seeing how well they do despite the lack of funding, which they desperately need. Take the bands for example: they NEED funding so badly they had to cut out whole pieces during their performances in Anaheim. Despite the many trials, they still do exceptionally well and win 1st place in American festivals. With proper funding, the Fine Arts programs can gain more recognition, as they have great potential for massive productions with large audiences. You market yourselves as a Fine Arts school, so start being one.

Still a pretty solid school though, not racist

As a student in a predominantly white school, I have faced discrimination and racism on numerous occasions. I cannot stress enough the emotional toll it has taken on me and the countless other students of color who attend the school. The school has failed in creating a safe and inclusive environment that values all students regardless of their race.

One of the most alarming instances of racism that I recall occurred when a teacher made insensitive remarks about my skin color. The teacher, who was of white descent, made a comment that implied that all brown people were poor and uneducated. The saddest part was that the rest of the class laughed, and the teacher continued to make such remarks in front of the class. This experience left me feeling humiliated, isolated, and angry.

Another example of discrimination occurred when a group of fellow students made derogatory comments about people with foreign accents. Being someone who does, in fact, have an accent, I felt insulted and marginalized. These comments were made casually without a second thought and only served to perpetuate harmful stereotypes.

Despite the school's apparent efforts to promote diversity and inclusivity, I consistently encounter microaggressions that altogether make me feel unwelcome. For example, there was a particular instance where a student said to me that my food looked disgusting when I was eating during lunch. I understand that students can have different opinions about food, but framing it that way only made it feel like an attack on my ethnicity's cuisine. This was a small but striking example of how racism permeates all aspects of our society, including school.

In conclusion, the school's lack of meaningful action to address the prevalent racism has allowed it to continue to manifest in different forms. Racism, whether intentional or unintentional, has created a hostile environment for students of color to thrive, and the school must take suitable action towards change. It is not enough to talk about diversity and inclusivity without implementing strategies and policies to ensure that they are practiced in real-life situations. Until the school's culture reflects such an environment, it will continue to fail the children in its care.

Students are rude and mostly racist. teachers could do a lot better with helping students understand the things they are teaching, and should have a better place for lunch so it isn't as cramped and loud.

Large focus on athletics rather than academics, and fine arts cuts leads to this school being primarily focused on physical activity.
