I’m very disappointed and kinda upset 😠
A couple weeks ago I was there asking information about the basic cooking program I talked in person with the director Chris . She was nice in the beginning and the receptionist was nice but while I was talking to her about my interest and explained my situation she was more interested in judge me asking many time the same question ! I felt very judged because she asked many time why I didn’t had work experience in Canada , I explained my reasons which includes being a single mom and had some difficult times . She showed some interest but still feeling like she wanted know more about my personal life . ( I was agree to shared because I thought was proper if I was accepted in the program and maybe she could showed me some options ) but nope I waste my hole time !! She didn’t give me the info about the program and is not the worse when I told her about my interest in other career she was kinda upset I mean i was there trying find out information! . Any way I don’t doubt thy is a great school for those that may qualify the Hight standards that apparently this culinary school requires.

Liaison College Oakville Campus is amazing!!! They truly know how to make all students feel like family!! It’s been such a joy going to school every day and never wanting to leave! I would recommend anyone interested in the culinary program to come and check out this amazing school.

Very disappointed in the operation of this college! We went in for an orientation based on a telephone conversation with myself and Christine the President of Liaison College in Oakville, that funding would be available. Once the orientation was over and we got down to dollars she stated that $2,500 would be required before my daughter's start date of Oct. 2, 2017. Then large monthly payments thereafter based either on 12 months or 24 months of which both were too high for me to manage. The school does not offer funding and is only attached to one government program which is 2nd career. This is my daughter's first career. When speaking with Christine later via phone she stated they were connected to government funding and grants. I spoke with the grant office and she verified everything I'm saying above...only second career funding is available. Seems they are hanging by a thread with low student count and are willing to do anything to keep their school afloat! Don't be fooled!

I went there to ask about their curriculum and tuition fees, they were welcoming and explained everything to me including the possible jobs after graduation and whether their programs suit me or not. I met the Director Chris, a very nice lady who knows a lot about culinary studies. I have not yet decided whether I'd join the school but I was happy with my visit

When you call a college phone mannerisms matter to establish character. The lady that called me back had such poor Mannerisms and seemed rather condescending based on my cultural last name. I was dissapointed.

She broke away from the conversation about school programs and said, "where are you from?" I told her that I am from Hamilton. She asked where I'm born and I said "I'm born in Toronto". Prior to this reply, She immediately starts to assume where I'm from, "you're from Ghana right?" I had to hang up or I was about to get rude with her a behaviour that I no longer indulge in was about to resurface. I told her to hold on while I went to the other line to get a phone call and decided to forget about her and she hung up and began calling the phone back. That was the other reason why I forgot about her.

She called me with some really ridiculous prices around 32000 dollars. She also assumed I should take the level 1 course instead of the personal chef course. Seemed like she was assuming that I can't afford to pay for the personal chef course. She doesnt know my financial status. It made me uncomfortable as she pushed for me to come into the office to waste my time like the review from Janzen above.

Please stop this behaviour Loyalist and trying to cover up your actions with lame and rehearsed excuses. It didnt work this time!
