Had to head over to the hospital today...hubby injured his foot, and being a diabetic and having an ICD, I wasn't taking any chances. I will say this...the staff there is incredibly friendly. They were helpful, knowledeable, and working as quickly as they could. Please remember that all hospitals are short staffed, which is the new norm. We had xrays done, the foot examined, the foot cleaned and wrapped, and we were in and out within three hours. That, to me, is more than reasonable. We will be back daily for the rest of the week, and I am just fine with that. Thanks for all your help and patience with us today!!

My dr recommended I come here to have an antibiotic iv and ultrasound for something that had gotten stuck in my leg. After waiting 5 hours, the dr on call gave me a script for an oral antibiotic and told me I didn't need an ultrasound, whatever was in my leg would work it's way out on its own. Skeptical, I went home. A week later I am back in the ER for the same problem. If the dr had done what she needed to do, I wouldn't be here wasting mine and the Dr's time. My leg is still infected, there is still something in my shin, causing pain and discomfort and swelling. You should NEVER leave a foreign object in someones body. Sending people home when they need to be treated, doesn't help anyone. What a waste of everyone's time. Please do better.

First time visiting this hospital for a procedure....the staff and Dr who took care of me were outstanding!!! Anyone having to have any type of procedure that invokes being put to sleep has some anxiety and they addressed that and made sure I was well informed and well taken care of! Lovely people.... Thank You for today!

This hospital is indeed an icon of kindness, care and professionalism. My gallbladder removal surgery was done here on October 16th 2023 and I am highly grateful of the entire team of this lovely hospital. Reception, nurses and doctors are all truly amazing. I've told about big pain, that i can't sleep because of it and nothing from pain relief medicine helps. I can't understand why on Saturday i needed to wait 5 hours and now on Sunday i need to wait for a doctor more than 7 hours without even explaining about delay. I am working hard from Monday to Friday. It's the only chance to rest and to do lots of things at home. Just because of such i am feeling myself even worse than when i came in to this hospital. I didn't eat, i couldn't even have a chance to go and prepare food for all further week. All that i've explained patiently to the staff of the hospital. Still waiting for speaking with doctor about my problem with the health, hoping not to wait forever for such patient service. Please, calculate the time or tell to come back further during the day, maybe, by call or at certain time, when doctor will be able to provide consultation. We are all people and it's 21 century. Everyone has what to do rather than to suffer from staying in 4 walls without water, food and in cold, thinking how miserable your life is.

P.S.: after 8 hours in total they spoke with me about my ultrasound, thankfully to Dr. Carnell i finally took my prescription for the pills.

The technologists in the Diagnostic Imaging Department were great. They took the time to explain what was going to happen and answered all my questions.
My appointment could not have gone better.

The hospital portion is incredible, the reason it gets 2 stars is the emergency room is so terrible. Average wait had been between 6-8 hours and have rarely felt we've received a level of care that justifies the time. The Listowel emergency room is a prime example of why people avoid going to hospitals in general. Drive to any other major hospital, it will still save you time and you'll get better quality of care.

This place sucks. Call and be put on hold for half an hour. I was dealing with stomach issues for 3 years. Came here several times over the past couple of years in order to try and find out what was wrong. “All good!”. Decided to go to seaforth one weekend on a whim(after becoming so sick that it irreparably effected my career) turns out I’ve been fighting off an infection in my bowel for a year +. The doctor I spoke to in Seaforth realized this within 5 minutes of speaking to me. I told him exactly what I told my dr (Dr.Q)
