I am so happy we found Little House.
Collectively, my family had four children attend this wonderful school, over a period of three years, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
The children have all recently moved on to public school, where they are thriving, both academically and in confidence. They not only developed a passion for learning, but also a strong sense of independence.
I credit this mainly to the foundation built by the attentive teachers at LHMS. I cannot thank you enough for doing such a fantastic job and including us in the school's warm family environment.

Our son started at LHMS this fall and we're thrilled with the experience he has had. He was welcomed with open arms by his teacher and classmates, making his first preschool experience a great one. In just a couple of months, we've seen his language skills blossom and he talks about his teacher, Madame at home all the time!

HIGHLY RECOMEND!! Our child has been at LHMS since Sep 2022 and loves it. We are extremely pleased with the academic achievements, like READING AT 4yo WOW.
FACT: The first 5 yrs of life is when the brain grows the most and sets the foundation of learning. Will they love learning and reading and writing? Most likely. but they will especially when they are allowed to via explore with play. ASK FOR A TOUR! The school faculty are great and very approachable. They speak to me often about my child's progress. As a bonus, our child has made many friends. The MONTESSORI teaching is worth every penny for your child's education.

We feel forever grateful to have found this school in our new neighborhood. We have two children attending and they are both looking forward to go to school everyday. What impresses me the most about this school is the high level of consistency in the care and attention given to the children as well as their genuine passion and love for the students. Yesterday my family had the honour of inviting 2 full classrooms of children (ages 5-7 ) to a birthday party at the indoor playground after school. 27 children attended.
I was so impressed with how all these children shared a bond and a respect for each other. Even the lady who worked there commented on how well behaved the kids were. Now as easy as it would be to pat ourselves on the back and say what a great job we were all doing, the truth is, the teachers at Little House deserve a lot of the credit. 27 children ran and climbed and played together without one single incident or parent having to intervene or correct a behaviour. When the lights flickered to call them into the party room, ALL came without having to be told twice. They each found a seat and sat patiently at the table and waited to be served pizza and then cake. They quietly conversed and laughed with each other and had great conversations. You could hear each child remember their manners when they were served. None got up and ran around during the meal.
It was truly an amazing and beautiful thing to witness. A first for me.
It has been crystal clear how the 4 children in my family have benefitted during their years at Little House in so many ways but yesterday was the first chance I had to really appreciate what a fantastic job all of the teachers have been doing. They would have been very proud of their students if they saw how their influences linger on the kids even when the teacher is not present. I can’t thank them enough for all of their dedicated and loving work. Great job!!!!

My son has a learning difference and the school has been amazing at embracing him and helping him grow in areas he needs help with while recognizing and encouraging where he has so many amazing strengths . This school has been amazing for him and now we have my also daughter in their preschool program and it’s been an absolute pleasure watching her grow and be so happy discovering what this school has to offer

We were so very fortunate to have our son attend the Little House Montessori School Elementary Program from grades 1-3.

During his time at Little House, our son was cared for in a way that our own family members would care for him, this is truly a little home away from home for your children!

Not only did the wonderful teachers and most caring director of the school, Ms. Joanne Harrison take incredible care of our son, this care extended to our entire family including his baby brother and sister and to us as well! They genuinely care and this is felt everyday! The thoughtfulness, time and energy that they put into each of their student's unique needs makes all of our lives better as a result! We will always be very grateful for all that they have done and continue to do for our family!

Our son is full of an excitement for learning that brings us such joy! He has such a beautiful inquisitive nature to his soul and this was nurtured and valued at Little House in a way that allows him to move so confidently in all areas of his life!

To say that we are thankful is an understatement! We are so very excited as our daughter is about to begin her first year in the Casa program this September and we just know that she will grow more confident and come home excited to share all of the wonderful new discoveries that she has made at her home away from home!
