This is an incredible organization with unique programs for people with intellectual disabilities. You will not find more passionate and caring people than Andrea & Jason and the staff at the Live and Learn Centre. They truly work with each individual, pull out their strengths and create a nurturing environment where clients thrive. After aging out of child and youth programs, I was unsure how to support my son to gain greater independence and life skills. Through the supportive staff and peer community at Live and Learn, my son has developed greater self esteem and positive relationships. I can’t speak highly enough about Live and Learn, it has been a godsend.

Live & Learn is an amazing place for people with disabilities. Once school has finished, a lot of these kids have no place to go. It is absolutely wonderful that Jason and Andrea have introduced this program for young adults. It gives them a place to go that is welcoming and accepting. It teaches them the skills they need to help make their life easier, so they can enjoy the things that they want to do, and they can have some independence from their family, so they can make good friends. This program covers everything that is necessary to help these kids fit it with society and be accepted for who they are, and what they are capable of. Thank you Jason & Andrea for this loving environment.

Anyone can have a great idea but few make it happen. Thank you Jason and Andrea for taking a great idea and making it happen! The Live and Learn Program is an exceptional program designed to facilitate growth and independence and life skills to succeed. The opportunities provided to be part of the Guelph Community and give back is wonderful to see. Always amazed at all the social activities that are planned. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Live and Learn centre. Jason and Andrea are truly amazing people who have created an innovative and powerful program to help their participants with independence and bridging into a new chapter in their lives. The programs offered by the Live and Learn Centre are filling such an important need for young adults with developmental disabilities and their families. In this beautiful new facility, our kids get to learn new skills, work on fitness, socialize & develop friendships, and have fun. I am so thankful and appreciative of the work that Jason and his team do!

Live & Learn changes the lives of so many people - not only the participants, but also their families and the workers and volunteers involved. It is a one of a kind business filled with opportunity and packed with fun events and programs which help to enhance individual growth, independence, self-esteem and life skills. After researching and visiting several other programs for my 23 yr old son who has a developmental disability, we knew within the first 5 mins that Live and Learn was exactly what we had been looking for. My son has now been attending for 2mths and I can honestly say that the day and evening programs are exceptional. We have been so impressed with all aspects of the program, the range of activities is outstanding, the staff are amazing , the amount of time and thought put into each month's schedule, making sure that there is the right balance between fun and learning is second to none.
Having worried for so long about what my son was going to do once he was out of full time education, I feel so lucky to have found Live and Learn, he has friends, he comes home happy, having had a very fun and fulfilled day. I wholeheartedly recommend that you look into the programs they offer, you will not be disappointed.
