I took the CPR workshop offered by Mama Bear Play Club. I’ve never had CPR training, and found this was simple to follow, hands on, and very useful information. It was well worth it!
My husband took this with me. He has done many CPR certifications through work, and still found this course was a great reminder of these life saving skills.

Attended the CPR class. It was the perfect length at 90 minutes with enough detail and hands on training provided to know what to do in an emergency situation without overwhelming you with information. And you can bring your baby as well which was helpful as both my husband and I attended the class together. Would definitely recommend.

I have been a part of the prenatal, CPR, and mama and babe programs. 10/10 would recommend to other expecting and new moms!
I joined the mama and babe program when my little one was 3 weeks, the program “classes” were great and informative, the facilitator for our group was also lovely. I have made some great new mom friends from it!
Their prenatal and CRP courses were intimate which made asking questions and having sidebar discussions easy and not intimidating. They were well run, Amanda and Andrea were awesome!

I have been in 4 Mama Bear groups and they have all been wonderful! The Mama to be group was very informative and provided great knowledge and resources that I referred back to and found helpful as a new mama. Once baby arrived the Mama and babe groups were also very informative but also felt like a safe space to talk and feel supported by other moms that were going through the same things. And most recently, the Mama and babe on the move group was so much fun. Getting outside and doing fun activities with the babies was something I looked forward to each week. The new mom friends I’ve made from these groups are so amazing and I can’t recommend Mama Bear enough to everyone!

I’ve done two groups with mama bear club. Both my experiences were absolutely wonderful. The first group I joined was in October, being only 2 months PP the connections/friendships I made with the mothers was a saving grace while I transitioned into a first time mother. I LOVED all the presentations and found them so helpful! A lot of the information has helped me through many different stages with my little one!

I also took part in the mama bear on the move group and it was so fun to get outside, go swimming, music class, and park dates! The facilitator was so friendly, welcoming and informative. Very organized and always very good at communicating since we had some bad weather and possible rescheduling.
The new mom friends I have made through both these groups are all so amazing. I can’t recommend mama bear club enough!

The CPR class was lovely and informative. The atmosphere was enjoyable and I learnt a lot! My experience with the mom and babe outdoor group was unfortunately incredibly disappointing. As a new mom who has done other mom and baby programs with great success I was hopeful to meet other moms and their babes and continue to grown my circle. Sadly, the opportunities to socialize with other moms didn’t occur in a way that was inclusive. The way the group was facilitated left some moms left out and the facilitator unfortunately did not make efforts to bring everyone together and on more than one occasion sat away from moms who arrived prior to her. It was incredibly awkward. More disappointing was when I had to reschedule our last session and was offered to join a different group. I showed up first, set up my stuff and the facilitator then showed up…set her stuff up a good 15 feet away from me which then in turn other moms I didn’t know (as this was another group) set up in a circle around her. I had to walk over and introduce myself. Was not invited to sit or join the group and stood awkwardly outside of the circle trying to make conversation. It was so uncomfortable and embarrassing. I decided at this point to leave. I have emailed the owners of my experience and I’m sure everyone is doing their best. I understand this may have been a one off group and am so happy to see other moms have had better experiences in different groups. Hoping that my email and this review will allow for some reflection on how groups can run in a more inclusive way in the future so no moms feel the way I felt.

I have done 2 separate mama groups with mama bear play club starting when my little was 2 months old and both experiences have been amazing from making new friends to the education provided by the guest speakers! As a new mom these groups have helped me find myself in motherhood and given me life long friends . Being able to chat with other moms that have experience from other children they have had or have babes who are older them mine has helped me navigate and feel not so alone in motherhood. I can't wait to continue to do these groups.
