My experience at Maple Leaf has been amazing! Clare and Taisiia are patient and really focus on technique, which has helped me improve a lot. The small class sizes make it easy to get personalized feedback compared to other studios, and the atmosphere is extremely friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to start or get back into ballet!

I started ballet as an adult and tried several different beginner classes, but kept coming back to Maple Leaf for its small class sizes, attention to technique, and holistic approach to dance. Over time I’ve seen my abilities and appreciation for ballet grow. Clare is also a wonderful teacher who challenges both body and mind while making us laugh. 🙂

I have had an absolutely wonderful experience with the Maple Leaf School of Russian Ballet. Being an adult dancer, returning to the craft after many, many, many years away, can be a vulnerable and scary experience. Claire and David have been consumate teachers and facilitators, providing care and attention that has been nurturing of the changes to the body that dancing can bring. I highly recommend 'Maple Leaf'! A wonderful studio!

Maple leaf has been a place I visited as a parent as both my sons developed their dance skills and it was a delight to see them develop and grow. Recently, I tried out the adult ballet trial classes and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and found David and Claire's instruction both encouraging and very informative. I would highly recommend Maple leaf to anyone that would like to begin ballet for the first time or for those who love to dance or those interested in developing a dance career.
