I recently took the OFA 2 course for work and would highly recommend this school. Dean was amazing and very thorough! He ensured that each student not only understood each step but was able to demonstrate it continually throughout the week, gaining confidence in each skill. He offered real world examples and situations and answered any questions asked, leaving the class feeling like we were well prepared to face any situations that may arise in the workplace. Very professional atmosphere and great up to date materials.

Recently took my Level 2 First Aid Course here. I had Dean as my instructor and he was very thorough with all the material along with being supportive making sure no students were left behind to struggle. My examiner "Mum" was fantastic and she easily brought down my anxiety levels prior to taking my test. For anyone taking the Level 2 course I can recommend this school. If you need to get 1st aid training this is the place. I never thought I was going to make it but the instructor there, Dean, pushed us and taught us in a manner that we all got through it. I now hold a level 3 OFA because of this school and this instructor.

I want to thank you for providing an excellent Occupational First Aid level 2 training experience. The course covers a lot of material and our instructor Dean, kept the class on track and covered the materials in a professional and engaging manner. He provided real world anecdotes to illustrate concepts being covered, this ensured the material, which is heavy at times was relatable. The equipment was all up to date and in good condition, the facilities were very accessible. Thanks to the training, I was able to deal with a first aid call within minutes of my first shift back at work, I knew what to do and ensured the patient was cared for appropriately.

Maple Ridge First Aid school is bar none the best school I've encountered! I recently recertified and upgraded from an OFA II to an OFA III and passed! The staff there are friendly and exceptional. I would like to extend a big shout out to Fran for going the extra mile in helping me get approval so that I could attend this course! Thanks again Fran! I would also like to extend a big THANK YOU to Dean the instructor. Your passion and knowledge definitely shows of over 30 years experience in the field. Dean takes the time with each individual student to answer questions and or are feeling unconfident to ensure their success! Took the OFA level 2 course here the last week of April 2022. The instructor Dusty was great and taught the course at a good pace. I had done the course 3 years ago but left this time with way more confidence!

Would recommend! Took the two week OFA 3 course with Dean and he was nothing but amazing. So very patient and answered every question I had. You can tell he is very passionate about what he does which makes the course that much more enjoyable and he really wants everyone to succeed. Thanks Dean !
