Saw how poorly my friend was treated by this place. She wasn’t feeling well and let them know in advance, hoping to simply reschedule a session. Instead, they refused and still charged her the full amount. It’s honestly shocking how little they care about their clients. Definitely not a place I’d ever support.

这家店的policy简直就是scam。提前通知不能来，结果不让reschedule，还硬要收全额，完全不讲理。The front desk staff was unbelievably unhelpful and had a terrible attitude — no empathy, no flexibility, just repeating rules like a robot.

花这么多钱来这里，结果连基本的customer support都没有。

Honestly, I’ve never experienced such disappointing service. Strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you want to be treated with basic respect.

Markham Badminton 真的是我这几年去过最失望的球馆之一。我这两三年间偶尔会去几次，发现问题一直存在，完全没有改善。

只要是阴天或下雨天，地板就滑得离谱，根本没通风也没除湿，打起来非常不安全，根本不敢放开打。最气人的是，不止我一个人这么觉得，很多人都在评论里说过，但工作人员根本不当回事，不是笑一笑带过，就是态度很差，完全不重视顾客的反馈。

球馆冬天冷到不行，夏天又热得要命，全年连热水都没有。就这样还要收会员费，真的很不合理。

我写这个不是为了黑店，而是真的希望老板能认真面对这些问题，不是一天两天了。如果再不整改，我真的会考虑向消费者协会投诉。

Markham Badminton Club has been consistently disappointing over the past few years. I’ve been coming here occasionally for the last two to three years, and the same issues have remained without any sign of improvement.

The courts are dangerously slippery whenever it’s cloudy or raining, due to the lack of proper ventilation and humidity control. It’s not just uncomfortable — it’s a serious safety concern. Many other customers have raised this issue, but the staff often respond with a laugh or a dismissive attitude, which is completely unacceptable.

The facility is freezing in the winter, extremely hot in the summer, and there has never been access to hot water at any point in the year. Despite these poor conditions, they still charge customers a membership fee, which makes no sense.

I’m writing this review in the hope that management finally takes these problems seriously. I’m not here to attack the business — I simply want to see real improvements for the safety and comfort of everyone who uses the facility. If nothing changes in the near future, I plan to file a complaint with Consumer Protection.

Terrible customer service. I was genuinely sick and gave them a heads-up that I couldn’t make my private lesson. I politely asked to reschedule, but they refused and still charged me the full amount. For $85+ per session, I expected more understanding and flexibility, especially when health is involved. Not coming back.

前台态度真的很差，完全没有服务意识。Tried to ask for help politely about rescheduling a session, but the front desk was super rude and dismissive. 没有任何同理心，也不愿意沟通解决，只会冷冷地说“不行”。收费高，服务却这么差，完全不值。Won’t be coming back, and definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Really disappointed on behalf of my friend who was sick and gave advance notice asking to reschedule a private lesson.

Instead of showing basic empathy, the staff insisted on charging the full fee without offering any flexibility. For a place that charges premium prices, the lack of compassion and poor customer service is unacceptable.

Very dirty so many shoes around the room and the workers just don’t care about the mess and just like to see the shoes around the room, they don’t care cause they like the smell of feet

I believe that Markham Badminton offers the highest quality of service, training, and courts there is to offer. The new courts have exceeded my expectations and the lighting is very eye-pleasing as well. An issue that used to occur was the slippery courts, but that does not seem to pose as a problem anymore as I have not had this problem. The coaches are very experienced and are of the highest level you can find, a lot of them have impressive previous world rankings and have competed on the international stage. Overall, I do believe that Markham Badminton is an excellent badminton club and I would definitely recommended going here!
