A great experience today at medic comforts!

I arrived at “Canmore general hospital” yesterday for a shooting pain in my right leg. After 5 hours of waiting they did not explain what was wrong nor help me.

“Medic comforts” knew exactly what was wrong and gave me what I needed! She gave me a thorough examination and was extremely friendly. I was given a belt and instantly my pain in my leg subsided.

The selection of medical equipment here is amazing, and the staff member we worked with helped us find what we were looking for immediately. I also needed crutches, and they have a donation system so she gave me some that another customer had dropped off and just told me to pay it forward & re-donate then after I was done with them!

They’re also great at providing receipts so you can claim items through insurance if you have the benefit. The best one stop shop for medical equipment in Canmore by far!

The owner was very personable and really knew her stuff - very helpful! Had an unfortunate run-in with a horse resulting in an ankle injury and needed a compression stocking and cane. She reviewed the options, fitted me for both and got me on my way.

Valentina was AMAZING. She was so kind and genuine. I hurt my ankle at the beginning of our vacation to canada all the way from florida. She truly saved my vacation by renting us a transport chair. My vacation became amazing despite my injury. The compassion she provided for me and my family is something I will cherish and look back on. ❤️

Called in to inquire for wheelchair for my 70 year old Mom, the lady who picked up the call stated that’s she is providing services to local and not to tourists. Very rude and inhuman behaviour. How inconsiderate behaviour she is just concerned about the tourist and just considering local people and how logical is this? Are you not considering the position of elderly person?

I stopped there to rent a wheelchair for my cousin who was in visit and is low mobility and the lady who helped us finding it was very knowledgeable and one of the kindest person I've ever met. I can't recommend this place enough if you are looking to buy or rent medical equipment at a fair price. they have a large selection as well.

Medic Comforts is so amazing! Valentina has helped me so many times with various injuries and with compression stockings for my persisting venous insufficiency. She really knows how to fit compression stockings, is happy to special order you what you need, and is so good at educating you on caring for them. Valentina is a real pleasure to deal with, every- single-time, even when she's super busy. She is a kind, kind soul, who really cares about her client's well-being. She never tries to up-sell. She wants you to have the most economical, but effective means of managing your health issues. I don't know what I would have done without Valentina, her store, and her care. Thank you!! 🙂
