I would like to start by saying that this negative review has nothing to do with the nurses I've encountered here. They have all been exceptionally nice and knowledgeable.
This negative review is based solely on the experiences I've had with the receptionist at the front desk. On multiple occasions she has been rude, condescending and belittling towards me (and others according to the reviews on this site). She should not be working anywhere near an environment where she is dealing with fragile new moms.
Unfortunately, if you plan to have children in Medicine Hat, and keep them safe by keeping up to date with vaccinations, you will have to endure her snarky and condescending attitude more often than you should have to.

The nurses here are great. They are very helpful and friendly. However, the one lady at the front desk is incredibly rude. She is extremely condescending. This is not an appropriate job for someone with such poor manners and no people skills.

I have always had a great experience with all of the staff I have encountered here! Very helpful and no judgement. However, every time I go, the lady at the front desk has not been friendly or approachable. By reading other reviews, I see this is a shared experience unfortunately.

Last few times there has been great and helpful but this time the front desk lady "blanka" was rude, unhelpful and judgemental...made me extremely uncomfortable giving my information to her .....

*Racism Alert*
I called this center to book myself in for a MMR vaccine, because I don't have the record from my childhood. The woman who picked up the phone, asked me where am I from.
I said I'm from Iran!
She said "IRAN?!! Where is THAT!"

I was so surprised by this reaction, I said "It is in middle east!"
It was incredibly rude and sounded racist!
Then I came to the center for my appoitment, I complained about this behaviour to the woman who was at the front desk!
Her response was even worse!
She said" maybe they didn't hear you quite well over the phone. Also when someone talks with an accent it is hard to understand them"
The lady at front desk did not even bother to apologies for that previous encounter, and blamed it on my accent, which was even worse!
The staff at this center might benefit from trainings on how to talk to people from other countries as they clearly treat them like aliens.

Lactation consultant was great, the front desk woman was very rude every time i went. Except when they hired a new lady, she was great.

record for what im missing.so nice and professional in dealing with everything.

Receptionist was quite rude and standoffish when I requested some health records. Continued to speak to me in a condescending manner and did not fully listen to my request or further comments. All in all, did not provide a friendly environment.
