MAY 2024: The family was looking for a nice, laid-back place to skate and stumbled upon this place. We almost passed on it after reading mixed reviews, but we decided to give it a shot. It is a Black owned establishment, and I always try to support them when possible.

PROS:
* The pricing was decent for a Saturday evening. $7 for person, $3 for skate rental = $30 total for 4 us (one of us did not skate). They accept cash and credit card, and I believe ApplePay.
* Good music. Upbeat, radio-friendly hip hop and R&B that was perfect for a skate jam.
* Clean fun in a venue that is accessible to all people, young and old. No fussing or fighting here. Everyone was here to have a good time.
* I read that there used to be some water leaks in the ceiling, but that was not an issue when I visited. It was raining heavily outside, and there were no leaks or buckets anywhere on the inside.
* Large skating rink.

CONS:
* The skates were functional but seriously outdated. The majority of them need to be replaced. However, if they do that, then they would have to increase the prices to cover the cost. I would recommend bringing your own skates, if possible.
* No skate trainers (usually made of PVC pipes) available. My youngest toddler could not skate unassisted.
* Arcade is small and not operational. Kids love video games, and the venue would benefit from having some sort of gaming console for people who are taking a break from skating.

SUMMARY: It is a good, safe hangout spot to skate in. I suggest that they update the skates and possibly look into adding a DJ station and refreshment station in the center of the rink, to boost appeal. I'll be back...with my own skates.

I don’t recommend!!! Other than the food and music this place was a mess! I’m not trying to hate but the bathroom was bad, it was mold on the celling, leaking water and buckets on the rink, and only one lady had a smile on their face! I love the pricing to get in and skate but I would just say bring your own skates! There’s only like 2 size 11’s. Be careful out there to because there was no security! There were even people smoking… over all my experience was a 2/10.

Facilty needs an overhaul, but overall great hangout and outing for the younger ones up to 25 yrs old. On a positive note, the sessions are longer and the cost is low. Although the skate rental is cheap; so are the skates. Basically, Mig really need to invest in some new rental skates and have the rink floor resurfaced and/or sanded to smooth out all the bumps and uneven surfaces, then polish it up nicely. Lastly, get those leaks in the ceiling fixed and quit putting cones and buckets on the skate floor to catch the dripping water from the ceiling. I just want Pla-Mor to be a great place to go.

Flores need to be redone BRING YOUR OWN SKATES! Stoppers coming off while u skate and u might fall cuz the wheels on them skates not right bad attitude from gay boy with dreads and light skin girl

This place has a very friendly environment. The staff is very nice. The customers that come in are very nice. The place definitely need to be updated. The ring itself is okay. I love taking my grandson here because the people are very friendly and help teach him to skate. For that along we will be their every Saturday.

Nice skating rink, the staff was friendly, the music was good. Vibe was nice, My first time there but I'll be back.

Won't bring the kids back here. The place is falling apart. My son hurt himself on a nail. When it was brought to their attention, nothing was done. Water fountain didn't work, so had to buy water. Took over 15 minutes to get the change back. Food court was closed. Big disappointment.
