Came to Shandelle’s for a month to ride not knowing how much she would impact my riding journey. She is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable trainers I’ve ever had! She taught me so much in only a short span of time. She invested so much time into me. Words can’t express how grateful I am for her and how she pushed me to my fullest potential. We celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday at millennial acres and I am so pleased with the whole experience. The ponies were so calm, and the birthday space was lovely. Shandelle was so welcoming and warm. All the kids had a blast, it was a very memorable and enjoyable experience start to finish.

My daughter has been riding at Millennial Acres with Shandelle and the other wonderful coaches for just over a year and we have nothing but positive things to say! Shandelle and I began chatting in February 2023 regarding purchasing a Fjord Mare off of her. From the beginning Shandelle was so friendly and super accommodating. She made the whole process very smooth and was very flexible. I bought the mare home in March and Shandelle has still been involved and celebrating all the positives that we have shared with Pebbles. Shandelle's Horse Riding Stables is incredible! My children have enjoyed the Kids Pony Clubs and Horse Riding Lessons she offers. Shandelle is a great riding coach, and has a really fun teaching style where she makes it very enjoyable for the kids, while keeping it safe. My kids never want to leave after we are done there! She offers nice quality horses for sale also, and does a great job training horses too. I highly recommend to check Millennial Acres out if you are seeking lessons or lease horses for your children or even yourself.

My partner & I had the pleasure of meeting Shandelle & her students for a photoshoot this year! What a FUN & inclusive environment & my favourite part is how teachable the atmosphere is. Shandelle and Millennial Acres recently helped me fulfill my dream of owning a fjord horse when I purchased my adorable little mare Freyja (formerly Bonnie) in May 2023.

From the first handshake when I arrived at the stable, Shandelle was warm and friendly. When describing Freyja, who was a younger, greener horse in training, Shandelle was honest about Freyja’s strengths and areas for improvement. I got to spend time grooming Freyja before the test ride, which I appreciated as it helped me get a sense of Freyja’s energy and personality. Trainer Sophie and barn staff member Grace were also friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome during my time spent with Freyja and at Millennial Acres. Thank you!

During my test ride, Shandelle provided helpful guidance and feedback as I rode Freyja at walk, trot, and canter. Shandelle also offered me the option of a second test ride, which I took her up on, coming back a few days later to ride Freyja again and spend time with her in the round pen, which solidified my decision to go ahead with a vet check.

We stayed in touch about Freyja’s results during the vet check process. Shandelle never pressured or hurried me along, which I appreciated because I was looking for my forever horse and wanted to take my time.

When I decided to buy, I asked if Freyja could stay at Millennial Acres for another few weeks until I was ready to receive her in Alberta, and Shandelle graciously agreed. That gave me the peace of mind to know that Freyja would be well looked after and in training until her big trip east!

Since Freyja arrived in Alberta, Shandelle has kept in touch, checking in every so often to ask how our new partnership is developing. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about all her horses and wants to make sure sale horses go to loving homes that are a good fit for both horse and rider.

I’m looking forward to enjoying the company of my lovely little fjord mare for many, many years to come!!

My horse and I are pleased with the coaching from Shandelle. We have been attending weekly lessons for two months and are very satisfied with our progress. Shandelle is knowledgeable, patient, and a very effective teacher. I came to Shandelle to learn good basic western riding habits, and I feel so much more confident in my abilities. I also wanted my horse to get comfortable with trailering each week and for me to learn to maneuver the trailer better, Shandelle also helped me with this!
