If it is you and your significant other, it could be very romantic. We had our twelve year old son with us, so there was not a lot of privacy. The cottage we were in had one interior door, between the kitchen/laundry and the bathroom. Our bed was separated by a large wardrobe with an ornate key that had the wood been a bit darker, and the wardrobe full of heavy coats might have taken one to Narnia. Alas, in the real world, it provides line of sight lockage between our bed and his, but not much else.
The couple that own the place are very friendly, especially the wife. She and my wife hit it off. They were very accommodating to our somewhat flexible le plans. The cottage was very clean. The temperature was perfect, though the weather was not got or cold, so the HVAC never really turned on. It is cozy, but there is lots of cubby space. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, but the food. The washer and dryer are efficient and quiet. It feels al.sot like an Ikea showroom, most of the furniture is lovely and functional and not allot of wasted space. There is a fire pit outside, and there is a table and chairs by the gas grill outside. There is an umbrella for the table.
Expedia bills only for two, despite the listing saying an additional child is $45. They also have a $75 cleaning fee. We were only there for three days, but still. not terribly unreasonable. Seems fair for a week, which I think is their usual rental period. They are adding on to their own home, which is across the drive. So, you might get a beep or two this year as they expand to make space for their daughter, but when we were there, it was mostly quiet.
We never turned the TV on, so I can't speak to it, but they do have satellite Internet, and it was fine, dropped for a few seconds here and there, so if you are gaming it might be a problem, but if you are gaming you probably should have stayed home. We hope to return again in a few years.
