My son enjoys coming to school which is such a relief. School staff are lovely, it is a welcoming space for kids and parents. Staff know your child even if they are not in their class, they greet the kids when they walk in the hallways. Very welcoming. My only wish is that the community would support a stronger German program here with higher enrollment.

I cannot speak highly enough about Mills Haven Elementary School. This school is truly amazing. My daughter had the privilege of being in Ms. Da Costa’s class, and she was absolutely excellent. Ms. Da Costa’s dedication and passion for teaching were evident, and she played a significant role in my daughter’s love for math.

The principal and vice-principal are also worth mentioning; they are extremely approachable, kind, and always available. Their presence and involvement in the school community are commendable.

The administrative staff at Mills Haven Elementary School is another highlight. They are super helpful and friendly, making interactions with the school office a breeze.

We wouldn’t change schools if not for the move to Fort Saskatchewan.

Overall, Mills Haven Elementary School is a fantastic school with a top-notch team. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their child’s education.

Decent playground and pretty good hill for sledding (not that big but LOTS of space and 2 adjacent sides of hill to chose from). Has skating rink. School bldg just renovated this summer of 2017.

As one of the first children of this school....many many years ago...I was frequently verbally and physically abused in grade 4...These teachers were not nice...they were mean..very mean....and I fight the flashbacks often..and have required counselling...Oh yes...I am sure it's all very sweet and perfect there now....but let me tell you all....IT WASNT!!...Those teachers would have been canned on the spot in today's world!!!....Classrooms should have cameras!!!!
