I did Modo Yoga every single day in April, and honestly… I’m hooked. As someone who lifts heavy at the gym, I didn’t expect yoga to make this much of a difference—but it absolutely did.

Within a week, I was moving better. By the end of the month, I was squatting deeper, recovering faster, and not waking up stiff as a board. My hips, shoulders, and back felt like they’d been upgraded. Plus, those heated classes? Absolute magic after a brutal leg day. It felt like I was wringing the soreness out of my muscles.

And beyond the physical side, Modo became my reset button—mentally and physically. I looked forward to it every day, and it helped me stay consistent in the gym without burning out.

10/10. If you lift, train, or just want to feel better in your body, give it a shot. I thought I was just going to stretch—turns out I unlocked a secret weapon.

Modo Yoga Dundas is an incredible studio! Knowledgable teachers, good variety of classes, and great location (always clean!).

I noticed some reviews mentioning the late policy and I have to say that as a student who attends classes often I am VERY grateful for the late policy. You may only be 2 minutes late to the studio but by the time you go to the change room, take off your shoes, set up your mat etc its a good 10-15 minutes that takes away from class for those who came prepared. The late policy shows that Modo Dundas respects their students and their practice and values their time.

I am very grateful for the studio and the wonderful energy it holds. Even if you have never set foot on a yoga mat this is a great studio to dive in!

I started practicing yoga over a decade ago at Modo Dundas and have never left. The atmosphere is super chill, and the instructors each bring their own vibe to the classes. There is a class for everybody there. I'm especially fond of the SSU (stretch, sweat, and unwind) classes that help keep my breathing deep and my body limber. The classes start and end on time, demonstrating true respect for the participants. I'm so happy I walked through the doors many years ago!

Update edit, July 2025: I am compelled to update my review with 8 months of progress under my belt. The Modo Dundas experience continues to improve week to week! The changes to my upper body strength is amazing as I can now do “lady” push ups, something I was never able to do! My hip and back pain is now more manageable and I appreciate the modifications that each amazing instructor offers! Today I signed up for and attended a 90 minute Restorative Workshop Class with Jessica D……..it was heavenly on a Saturday afternoon! I felt myself slowly drifting away into relaxation mode as my brain clicked off. Highly recommended! The instructors at Modo continue to be top grade.

I rejoined recently and realize how beneficial hot yoga is for me. I adore Modo Dundas! Each instructor is very helpful, different and very endearing! I personally love the hot studio and the sweat! My class level right now is the Sweat, Stretch and Unwind. This is due to past injuries and aches that come along with age but don’t get it mixed up….it’s a workout….and I love it! Thanks to all the gals I’ve met….Erin & Erin, Annie, Jessica, Julia and of course Elda who is so quick to respond to emails. You ladies rock!

I love both studios, all the instructors are wonderful and there classes push me to be my best, very happy i found these studios after my life changing event its brought a lot of peace in my healing journey. Also the showers are wonderful after a class everything is kept so clean !

I had a class booked for 12:30, arrived at 12:34 (just 4 minutes late due to construction), and the door was already locked. I waited outside until 12:50 under the sun, but no one answered and the reception desk was completely empty. For a place like this, that is absolutely unacceptable there should always be someone at the front desk.

Most gyms/studios have a standard 5–10 minute grace period for late arrivals, so I don’t believe this was on me. The experience was extremely unprofessional, and I’m not sure if they’ll still charge me. I’ll be contacting ClassPass to report this because customers should not be treated this way.

I really like the Modo studio in Dundas and all the instructors I've had the pleasure of being guided by. I attend the Sweat, Stretch, and Unwind class as often as possible. It's the only class that fits my schedule. My only complaint is that the background music is often louder than the instructor's voice, making it hard for me to hear the prompts. The room being so dimly lit (which I love) adds to the challenge of seeing the poses. If the music and the instructor's voice weren't competing, it would make it easier for me to follow.

Having said that, I may be getting old and deaf (that's a real possibility) 🙂
