Came across this new music school while looking to pick up piano lessons. So convenient being able to register month-by-month with rooms to practice in and equipment to rent without have to commit to the instrument completely! Especially with a full-time job, the flexible payments and lesson times are helpful. Owners are lovely to work with!! Would give 10 stars if I could!

I am editing my review which was originally negative but I am very happy to say that Musicworks in St Albert is under new management and staff have recently reached out to me to help me with a warranty claim for my Washburn guitar. I was upset that my new guitar basically came apart on its own but I am happy that Musicworks is standing behind their sale and addressed the issue. It’s impossible for a seller to know if one of their guitars, particularly at a lower price point, will be defective but it’s very nice to know that you can rely on the seller to address the issue should one arise. Today I picked up my brand new replacement and it looks and sounds great. Thank you Musicworks!

I came in for guitar strings and had the greatest experience in this local store! Peter was exceptionally knowledgeable and helped me find strings that would suit my purpose - to learn how to play ‘Sweet Caroline.’ I don’t play right now and probably don’t know how to hold it but I will learn. Donald popped out and joined in on our conversation and I tried to adopt Summer! I absolutely recommend this local store over larger places as they really are amazing and…..they even have drop in sessions!!

Music works was so great! We brought in both kiddos for a musical exploration, where they were encouraged to try out everything from voice to drums! Both kids had a wonderful time and we ended up signing up for both the preschool program and one on one lessons! We were so impressed that the staff all seemed to “read” our kids and guess correctly what would be a good fit for them. We look forward to starting lessons and will do another review once we’ve started! So far, loved all the staff!
