Just finished a fantastic two week sailing holiday up the Sunshine Coast to Desolation sound on SY Venture. Very friendly and professional hand over of the yacht at the beginning and the end of the holidays. Yacht in good condition with everything one needs for a safe and comfortable sailing experience in tidal pacific waters with lots of wildlife.
Special thanks to Nima, who really spoiled us taking his time to show us everything and anything around the boat and answer all our questions.
If we ever make it back to BC, we would definitely charter again with Nanaima Yacht charters.

We just finished a 10 day sailboat charter with Nanaimo Yacht Charters. From the moment we enquired, to the day after the charter ended, everyone we interacted with was absolutely stellar (Claire, Nima and Brock to name a few). The boat was well-maintained, the staff were helpful, knowledgeable and kind. We definitely plan on chartering another sailboat with them. I would recommend them to anyone interested. My family had a wonderful experience this summer with Nanaimo Yacht charters. We took a trawler and had an amazing adventure to the Chatterbox falls and back. The team were superb in their help and support before we arrived. They were able to advise on our route and planning. The boat and handover was excellent, they were brilliant on our return. Our best overseas charter yet! Superb sailing area and opportunities to spot wildlife close up (sadly no bears this trip). We were delighted with Northern Breeze (36ft Bavaria) and really appreciated how helpful everyone we encountered in the NYC team was...friendly and knowledgeable. Hope to be back!

Thank you NYC for helping to make our dreams come true! We ticked a huge item off our Bucket List in July 2019. Stargazer, a beautiful Bavaria 43' was our home for 10 days. These are just a few of the squillions of photos! She was comfortable, clean, and very well appointed and maintained.
A big thank you to Ian and his team. This was our first charter and we could not have been happier with the kind and courteous service. After a warm welcome we were briefed on the sailing area, received charts/books and plenty of tips to help us on our adventure. We were given a very thorough brief aboard Stargazer and our questions were answered professionally and respectfully. We have two teenage boys and this was the perfect family holiday.
We will definitely be chartering again with Nanaimo Yacht Charters as we really felt that they wanted us to have the best experience possible.

We, a crew of 6 people from Germany, wanted to see and sail the sea area between Vancouver and Vancouver Island with its Strait of Georgia, Chatterbox Falls, Sunshine Coast and Desolation Sound.

To charter a boat for our purposes, we made the right choice with Nanaimo Yacht Charters. The boat was a Jeanneau 419, which was ideal for the trip and 6 people.

It should be said about Nanaimo Yacht Charters that communication by e-mail and telephone worked perfectly before the trip. When we reached the port, we found an excellently prepared and equipped boat. The handover went smoothly and competently.
Even with the somewhat complicated processing of entry via ArriveCan, by means of which 2 of us were chosen to have to prove a negative Covid test after entry, we were supported.

Returning the boat after the trip went just as smoothly as anything else we have experienced with Nanaimo Yacht Charters. Friendly staff from Nanaimo Yacht Charters helped us dock the boat at the port and were immediately ready to return and hand over the boat.

We would also like to say a big thank you to Nanaimo Yacht Charters and if we ever visit the sailing area again, we would charter our boat here again.

In Aug of 2021 I booked my 3rd bareboat charter with Nanaimo Yacht Charters. They are great people to work with. They made every step of the charter easy. The only complaint on this trip was the boat itself which I was told was damaged by the previous charterer. A missing handrail at the companion way and an overflowing windlass. The boat performed beautifully though and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. I would book with these folks yet again.
