This business defines customer service. We were renovating a smaller bathroom and needed some very specific material. The big box stores only sell the standard pieces that they can sell in bulk. Sandra did some incredible research to get the exact products that we needed and at a good price. Quality isn't cheap. To date, I have renovated 3 bathrooms and a kitchen with their assistance and products. Buy here, this is what local is all about!!

This employee went above and beyond; the part wasn’t in stock but he quickly pivoted to “let me find a way to help you”. He found a display model that would solve our problem. Sandra and VJ are always super helpful and prices can't be beat. If you need anything plumbing or electrical this is the place to go. If they don't have it, they'll get it. And if they can't get it they'll send you in the right direction. This is the way a supplier should be run.

Recently, my well pump stopped working, after a thunderstorm. Diagnosis showed a bad capacitor in the Franklin control box. The salesman at the Nepsco location in Wasaga, Pete Petsche, assured me that the Burcam control box he had in stock, was of excellent quality, so I purchased one for just over $152 with tax. It was installed, and my well pump was now functioning again. I came to realize that my well pump was over 20 years old, and decided I wanted to change it out as well, and asked Mr. Petsche to get me a firm price on the appropriate Burcam submersible well pump, and the estimated ETA, as they don't keep pumps in stock. Several days went by, and I never heard from him. In the mean time, this new Burcam control box started to act up, with the relay clicking for several seconds when the pressure switch kicked in. The pump would not always start, and I had to turn the breaker off and back on again, to get it to function properly. At this point I decided it was best to purchase a complete new Franklin pump from another local retailer, which came with its own control box. [which sells for $85 on it's own] The new Franklin system was installed, and has performed flawlessly. I decided to return the defective Burcam control box, and Mr. Petsche was behind the counter when I arrived. Things went south from there... After explaining the situation to him, he reluctantly agreed to process a refund on it, however he immediately became quite rude and insulting, stating that the issues I was having with the Burcam control box were all my fault. These insults continued while he processed the refund. He then wished me "good luck" with my new Franklin pump, and then said "have a nice day" on my way out the door. Both comments were said in the most sarcastic way possible... Is this the customer service one should expect when returning an item at a retail location?!?I don't think so! No wonder online shopping is becoming so popular!

In my opinion, Mr. Petsche's behavior and comments were completely inappropriate, rude, and disrespectful. Despite having made other purchases there in the past, it is highly unlikely I will ever purchase anything else there in the future.
