Teachers are awesome, so helpful and so understanding to students. I never regret I studied here. Very nice friendly staff,
looks small but we call it a happy place to learn, practical and
for sure the experience from class to career is true coz there's a very good learning applicable practicum 2 months to future workplace unlike in other school, they are just after your tuition with no practicum.

I just completed one term in the LINK program.
I am very pleased with my result. Great teacher Jesse! We, all the group of students, were very lucky to have a such teacher. He taught us a lot. Yes, there were students among us who worked a lot and had little time for homework. It was more difficult for them. But without independent work there will be no progress in learning.
So, thank you very much to the college! Almost everything was great. The only thing at the beginning was a misunderstanding with the classrooms. As for the rest, I really liked it. Learning, and volunteering, and the opportunity to take professional training for free!
I continue to study at the next level.
Thanks Jesse! Thank you, Linda and Paul, Natalia and everyone at the college. Guys, you are great!

I took the unit clerk course and I am only giving one star because it helped me get into NAIT to take a different course. I had the second highest mark in my class and they said higher marks get the practicum requested. I didn’t get any of the 3 on my list and the student with the lowest grade got what I wanted and she didn’t even request it. I mentioned it and they just shrugged and were like you get what you get. Not only that she got a job offer out of it and I had an awful preceptor who had me crying once a day she was so emotionally abusive so I did not get job offers and I never was able to get a job and ended up having to take a different course at NAIT where I did get a job. Don’t waste your money here. It’s only good for using to get into other colleges to spend more to get a job.

NorQuest has provided me with very good education 15 years ago. BUT LET ME EXPLICITLY SAY THIS TO YOU RIGHT NOW, IF YOU ARE THINKING OF MOVING TO THE USA AS AN LPN FOR WORK THINK AGAIN. CGFNS IS MAJOR CREDENTIALING INSTITUTION IN THE USA WITH APPLICATION FEE OF 750.00 US DOLLARS. THEY WILL BE REQUESTING NOT ONLY MATERNITY/ PEDIATRICS THEORY BUT ALSO REQUIRE OBSTETRICS AND MATERNITY PRACTICUM. OR ELSE YOU WILL NOT BE MOVING FORWARD. SO THIS REVIEW IS BASICALLY A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT. IF YOU ARE WANTING BETTER PAY AS NURSE, JUST GO FOR BSN.

Norquest is getting worse by year. Unhelpful staff and student coordinators. Worst front -line staff. Very sarcastic on the phone. I would never recommend this college to anyone. No initiative in helping students. No responses. Some instructors, especially the old ones are close-minded, and very traditional and one instructor who's having hard -time with technology cursed during class. Replace your front- line staff and old instructors with younger, open -minded ones. They appear strict and unapproachable and arrogant. When you call to ask for help and guidance the one who answers the phone is rude and insulting. Not good for business. Right now you may think you have lots of enrollees due to international students flocking in but someday, you will lose many students with the kind of staff you have.

I personally don't see the point of phoning Norquest student services because they are very rude and condescending. I am not 4 years old and I don't want to be treated or spoken to like a child when I phone and ask a question and I thought their job was to be helpful and kind. I also don't want to feel like crap just because I had a question or needed clarification. I spoke with one person last week and he was very helpful but that's the only time. Today, I spoke to someone and she was no help and very rude. It's better to go in speak to an advisor because they are knowledgeable and kind.
