My family and I stayed at Northern Timbers as a way point for an RV adventure from Calgary to Yellowknife.
We booked from the UK and Gloria was so accommodating and reassuring. Gloria made our planning so easy.
The site is outstanding! It has all amenities and each lot is large. It is picturesque, has a small playground for children and space to play volley ball and other ball sports.
It was very peaceful and deserved more than a one night stay.
If you are traveling from Europe, the drive to here from Calgary and Edmonton is amazing. Even if you have no plans to visit Yukon or North West Territories, this is a great spot to stay if you want to discover Alberta's mountains, foot hills and prairie.

This campground and the owners are amazing. This was our 4 time here are our visits have been awesome. We were in town for a basketball tourney. So we didn’t have to haul our trailer around Peace River, they were so gracious to allow us to check in early and then a bit late as well. One of the connections on our site was damaged when we went to connect and they came over and resolved it immediately. We will definitely keep this place on must stop list. We would highly recommend.

This place was great! Gloria was a joy to work with. The campsite is very nice. The bathrooms don't look like much from the outside but one you get in they are very nice and very clean! They have no charge showers and you can regulate the temperature to your liking. Definitely the spot to camp in Grimshaw!

The manager of campground is so understanding and positive, the campground is beautiful Lots but f sites great prices, 30 and 15 amp , and I own a trailer hat requires 50 amp but I can run my Ac as well as Microwave not at same time but that's fine. The bathroom cubes are a complete bathroom with toilet /sink, and shower in one.

A great family friendly RV Park! We were there for just a night but could of stayed a few more and just relaxed. There's a few facilities set up for fun outdoors, lots of grass and shaded area and sites in the trees. Sites in the trees have power n water with great shade, other RV sites have sewage hookup but no real shade. Bathrooms were decent with hot showers.

Great RV park with full service 30 amp sites, and lovely 15 amp and water sites cut into the trees. Clean shower/bathrooms available and free laundry and sani dump on-site. Gloria is very friendly and a wonderful hostess.

This RV park is very convenient if you are staying in Grimshaw. It is a short distance from the Mile Zero multiplex as well as the town center. The park is very clean, very well maintained and the hosts are incredibly friendly. The sites are a good size with a nice mix of private and open to accommodate any group. You will not regret staying here!

I would definitely make this a regular stop. There is a good mix of cozy trees sites and open ones. There is a cute playground for kids, a large open field, and an area that was more foresty. The showers were great, and the grounds were really well maintained.

They have full and unserviced sites that are perfect for tenters and Rvs.

I’m really glad we came across this little gem!
